The way you described the Melo kicks is just like how the Kyrie 7 feels to me after I broke them in. They're so comfortable. I used to wear the NFTs all the time but the Kyrie 7s are becoming my casual shoes too. So easy on my foot now; they used to feel so snug at the beginning, now they're so comfortable. Also, I can't believe you don't like the GT Run. I have so much bounce when I wear them. The only problem is my knees get sore the next day from all that jumping. But in the game, they do give you a hell of a bounce. I think it's just the name that's throwing you off. They shouldn't have called it GT Run. It should have been GT Air. Poor branding. They're so good. If the reason you don't like them are the upper material, then you might have a point. The tongue is real fragile. The rest of it though is dope.
Please review just once an Asics basketball shoe. "Gelburst" or "Nova Surge". They honestly have the best performance of any shoe out there and if you could put a spotlight on them Asics might hopefully release them outside of Asia.

I copped 2 pairs of the MB.01s and decided to use one for Hooping...I must say I was impressed at how they held their own, they dropped pretty late in the year but one of my Faves for sure!
@@mattnoonan6519 do it anyway. I’m 37 and this is the first shoe I can play in wear my feet don’t hurt at all and the traction is amazing. I still suck but I’m much less likely to get hurt and I have much more energy running up and down the court.

I laughed when I saw title best shoes and one of the worst reviewed shoes is the screen capture. Well played! My top were the Jordan 36, the KD 14 and got lucky and found a Clyde All-pro in yellow and black Porsche color way for $50. Blessings and Happy new year family!
With the mb1s i took a risk and went a size smaller than i generally do as i had been slipping wearing the why not zero3 i had been wearing indoors, they are snug but that was the point. Looking forward to getting on a court with them
Bought the Traes and my girl bought me the Jordan 36’s and I gotta say I love my Traes but man the 36’s are GOD tier. So light and fit like a glove, and support all of my movements.
these are all great bball shoes! personally i would go with the KD14. i was able to fit them in one of the outlet stores here, and they feel very comfy. price is still a bit high though. happy new year chris, jodi and everyone at weartesters!

The lamelos are dope played in them today for the first time 💯 a little bit heavy at the bottom but they grip your foot so well that it makes up for it. Sort of like the kyrie 6….. also the lamelos when you first put them on might seem like your high of the ground, you get used to it fast.
I bought a curry 8 this year and honestly it was a huge disappointment. After the first month, they slide so much that I can't even take them to the gym anymore. After another month, the sole completely ruptured on both shoes. Just hate the fact that all the youtubers hyped the shoe and I know like 7 people with the same experience. Kinda lost trust in curry brand and really not sure if I want to give curry shoes another shot🤷♀️
What do you mean by ruptured the sole?. I've played in my Curry8s for 6-7 months now... its been really good indoor with a little bit of out door use too. And the Curry 7 has completely different tech compared to the 8s, so the exprience of rupturing the sole doesnt make sense... there is no 'air' in it.
Exact same thing that happened to me! I have no idea why all the TH-cam reviewers were saying how great it is when for me it was a clunky and heavy shoe with poor traction and durability.
My curry 8 ruptured as well in the midsole but before that it was the best Basketball shoe I have ever played in . I got a full refund thankfully. It seems the curry 9 has a re-enforced midsole so here is hope that they are more durable
GT Cut is the best basketball shoe I may have ever played in for me. The combo of cushion, weight and responsiveness is unparalleled. Love it. I've also been liking the Nike Cosmic Unity though they have to break in.
@@wajaans5599 Both the shoes I mention I've only tested indoors, but both were great. No slippage, but also no trip points from traction on the midsole. Both were great. I probably wouldn't wear the GT cuts outside as they seem soft and like they would get torn up. But the cosmic unities might work

Can’t wait to cop the M1's. For me the Nitro's were awesome, I've haven't played that well in a shoe like that in a long time and I'm old (49 in Jan and still trying to ball). I have 3 pairs of Clyde Hardwoods and would take the Nitro's over them. Maybe they're OAP friendly in my case 🤷🏻♂️🤣🤣
DUDE, I've been trying so hard to get these "top 3" pairs since your original reviews on them... Right after those reviews, I knew I needed to get them, BUT I cannot find them (at least in a size 12-13) any-damn-where.... Especially the Kyrie's - I was such a huge fan of the 6's - they were incredible, and just keep striking out Honestly, I don't like the look of the MB.01's that much, but the monchrome color helps blend some of the messier details I don't care for, but I've been so impressed by Puma the last couple years, been wanting to show my support

The KD14 is the best shoe i ever played in, most comfortable plus the court feel ,and traction is top notch. I can hoop for 3-4 hours without any pain in my feet. Just a great great shoe! I already bought 3 pairs. I want to try the new Kyrie's tho, looks dope!

If you can find a pair of Air Zoom BB NXTs, they're basically the G.T. Run but better looking IMO. Snagged the Olympic colorway for like 60 bucks. Triple stacked react and zoom pods feel so good

Here is my review on some of these, i have 2 pairs of the gt cuts, they have great traction, fit snug, but are lacking support, i also have the trae's, the only thing they lack for me is that they feel flat. the kd 14s are awesome but i wont wear them because it gives me flashbacks of when i tore my mcl in them. I got a pair of the melos at champs, and they are insane, by far one of my favorite shoes to play, the gt cuts coming in a close second, but the melos have insane traction, cushion, support, the only thing for me is that i feel somewhat high off the ground. I've been trying to get a pair of curry 9s for ages, hopefully ill get them when they come out with the Elmo and cookie monster colorway. 🙏
Frustrating that these are impossible to get at MSRP, if at all. My 3 kids all hoop (2 in HS and one in college), and you are my go-to source each season when it comes to picking shoes. One of my HS boys and my college daughter both love the KD line, although my daughter prefers the KD13, and my other HS boy's favorites are the AJ36 and AJ34. Would love to get the Puma Clyde all pro or the MB.01, but can't get them at a reasonable price. Same with the Curry. All my kids hated every Kyrie version for the past 4 years....lol. Keep it up!

I absolutely need a pair of the trae youngs, they look so awesome to me. I also want to try and get the curry 9s. My experience w the 8s were not good and i didnt want to wear them. The cushion was bad for me, which is weird bc i prefer minimal cushion. And the upper toebox gave me blisters. Also i was scared to go full out on lateral movements bc of the support. And its not like im a massive person. Im like 6'3 190, so i never usually have containment issues in my hoop shoes unless they just have bad support features. I also need to pick up the mb.01 but im waiting on another colorway
I grabbed 2 of the reds, 1 for collection and 1 to try out. They were amazing, but yeah I will definetly be getting the baby blue/teal ones when they come out

Kd 14 and Mb.01 are my two favs on this list played in both getting a new pair of kds tho cuz I didn’t like the colorway i got so i just used nike Id
Here is my review on some of these, i have 2 pairs of the gt cuts, they have great traction, fit snug, but are lacking support, i also have the trae's, the only thing they lack for me is that they feel flat. the kd 14s are awesome but i wont wear them because it gives me flashbacks of when i tore my mcl in them. I got a pair of the melos at champs, and they are insane, by far one of my favorite shoes to play, the gt cuts coming in a close second, but the melos have insane traction, cushion, support, the only thing for me is that i feel somewhat high off the ground. I've been trying to get a pair of curry 9s for ages, hopefully ill get them when they come out with the Elmo and cookie monster colorway. 🙏
you know it's good traction when UA also uses the flow on running shoes and markets them with track athletes

Kobe 1 protro is one of the best indoor or outdoor used. I used it everyday on basketball or other activity. 2 to 3years

Frustrating that these are impossible to get at MSRP, if at all. My 3 kids all hoop (2 in HS and one in college), and you are my go-to source each season when it comes to picking shoes. One of my HS boys and my college daughter both love the KD line, although my daughter prefers the KD13, and my other HS boy's favorites are the AJ36 and AJ34. Would love to get the Puma Clyde all pro or the MB.01, but can't get them at a reasonable price. Same with the Curry. All my kids hated every Kyrie version for the past 4 years....lol.

I have three shoes in my bag, and that is the ice trae 1, kd 14 and kyrie low 3. In my opinion those shoes are awesome!
I absolutely need a pair of the trae youngs, they look so awesome to me. I also want to try and get the curry 9s. My experience w the 8s were not good and i didnt want to wear them. The cushion was bad for me, which is weird bc i prefer minimal cushion. And the upper toebox gave me blisters. Also i was scared to go full out on lateral movements bc of the support. And its not like im a massive person. Im like 6'3 190, so i never usually have containment issues in my hoop shoes unless they just have bad support features. I also need to pick up the mb.01 but im waiting on another colorway
I grabbed 2 of the reds, 1 for collection and 1 to try out. They were amazing, but yeah I will definetly be getting the baby blue/teal ones when they come out
