That's how it's suppose to be done but it's only a matter of making it actually sound SNES style. While he's using OpenMPT, like actually composing songs from scratch, it's possible to do it in FLstudio too. But we all have to option to use the midi or not and edit it.
What do you mean remixes lmao it's the same fucking song, no change to the structure or melody or anything. It's literally what you're complaining about, be it on FL or not.
Because it's the most diverse soundfont which makes for a wider variety of styles, more ppl are realizing this. X1 was the most popular but a lot of ppl don't use it right and it sounds bad on any other rendition of songs and themes that's not rock based lol

@@webbiefade14 Yeah, pretty much lol; I do a lot of X2 arrangements myself, especially nowadays, and that's mostly the reason why I prefer using the X2 sound set more, and the other reason is that I just like the distorted guitar sample from X2 more than X1's, and it's samples sound better overall to me haha
@@DixieChix exactly I feel the same way, it's my favorite soundfont of the whole snes trilogy lol and X2 was my personal favorite game of the trilogy as well. Just checked you out too, you have some nice stuff! Have you thought about doing some of the Mystic Quest themes X2 style? I always felt that was the perfect style for them but I have yet to see anyone do it, I've only seen x1 and x3 styles.
