- Bought this Cheap New Bright 1/6 Chevy Silverado at Walmart. First look the truck looks awesome. Overall not the fastest truck or best steering, might just keep the body!

Now do what any sensible person would do, take it apart and fit in a brushless system and toss in a lipo to see how long the drivetrain lasts lol.
I tore one apart and for the sake of it (it was in a flood so it was garbage for the electric parts and the motor case is a bitch to get apart without breaking and that was a truck from 2010 meaning now it’s even worse
It would be fun to see you mod it!
I would use this to drive it from my room to to kitchen just to get a drinks lol

I have similar one i found at a thrift shop and it looks like it has potential because it has suspension and lots of space for mods. Started with getting rid of the front and back bumpers cause they get you stuck and put the back one on the front. Now I wanna put in a bigger motor that can take 12 v battery and add a 12 v battery and a bigger antenna. People say it's a good truck for street but not for off road but If I can add some weight into it and power it might be hella fast also if I make it awd
I might do something with it in the future just to see what happens because this one has no suspension 😁

My first rc was a newbright and I couldn't even drive it on carpet, and a couple days later the motor burned out. They have ridiculously small motors for the size of the rc, I'm talking motors smaller then the ones on my printer.

These things are good on Clearance. That's about it. The Body and the details are REALLY good. Everything else? Not so good. However, its fun to give these double the voltage and watch them run full out till you burn the Stock stuff and replace the parts with better.
They should just outright make kits to do this.

I saw one at my Walmart in Hillsboro Ohio but man it is 140 just like it USB an 2 bats in the control.

I have this model here New Bright RC Dodge Ram Truck GF64UL1SNRR.The lights do work on front, but your right it sucks on grass or with you snow too.It is meant to drive on solid surfaces I imagine and I paid less than 40 for this one.Hard to get those bargains a person used to get when they were made better.For entertainment purposes guess it is ok lol.
The body looks good and thats about it 😅 Probably end up using the body for something else

I bought the smaller version of that one I think like 2-3 years ago from now from this comment and I never tried it on the grass or the snow but it was good on carpet

Bro I want to remove the bumper on my new bright 2007 chevy Silverado but I dont want to break the bumper off. I removed the screws but a red thing is there holding it there and it's hard to remove the bumper. Anyone know how to remove it without breaking?

Had two of these things are too heavy for the motors and the motors are way underpowered for the weight I had a modify the hell out of it

Its definitely toy grade, only good thing about it is you can use the body for another hobby grade truck. 😁
Yeah new bright is garbage but they made once half decent rc car back in 2010 I think. It was the xtrm version buggy. I had it and it wad all right. Proportional throttle , 2.4 ghz controller.
The old shit like the 1/6 Scale hummer with lights sounds and speed was a badass still have mine and it runs really good
You should send all your rc toys to heaven like I did so they can last forever and not get destroyed all you need is a spell caster

c'est quoi le problème de New Bright ? des mini moteurs , ratio ridicule pour la transmission , etc , incapable de franchir un crayon sans allant .
