- The 64 Down N Dirty Chevelle is getting some more love! This week we installed a coolant over flow system and fixed a bad starter issue. We also finished calibrating the dakota digital dash. We are tying up loose ends to make sure Down N Dirty will pass tech inspection at the Duct Tape Drags in late September.
I love the way you show it just like you’re doing it in your garage like everybody else you’re one of the smartest mechanics I know and I appreciate all the help you give me. They said it would be about three months before I can get my motor back then we have that nasty, 327 and put in the car

Electrical systems in automobiles is my kryptonite. I can never understand or get it in my head straight so I watch yours over and over and it is very very educating and by the way when you’re out driving your car in that heat, you be sure and take care of yourself. Don’t get too hot, be careful and safe
I don’t mind electrical. It’s not very exciting content. But it is rewarding to see everything working correctly.

Greetings from Tulsa Oklahoma, Tack, i like your dakota digital gauges, I need to check out a g body version, for my elco. My question is AC in the hot rods, i am considering a vintage air unit, i just dont like driving in 90-100 degree heat without AC, I'm 64yr old and the heat just melts me like a bad acid trip!! Lol
I’ve installed several vintage air kits. They are pretty complete with just about everything. The instructions are easy to follow. But……… in my opinion……. They don’t blow icebergs at you or anything like that. It’s better than nothing. But don’t expect it’s going to be like a new cars AC. Again….. that’s my opinion. 🤷♂️
I just open the wing windows and hit the gas!!! 🤷♂️

Duct Tape Drags!!! Use to be called Zip tie drags. David Freiburger puts it on once a year down in Tucson!! Do a TH-cam search for Duct Tape Drags. You’ll like it!
