  • Join me as I walk, ride and eat at the streets and places in the Philippines, all in 4K.
My ultimate goal is to do a Walking Tour of each and every city /municipality of the whole Philippines.
I will try to feature all of the significant spots of the places I visit as much as time and resources would permit. In most cases, you will only see a portion of the city/municipality as shown on the map animator at the beginning of the video. (usually the city proper/downtown/local market)
DISCLAIMER: Those streets are not a representation of the total beauty and progress of the city/municipality.

Roxas City is just a small city with the population of like 200,000 only, not highly urbanized city yet and have no tall buildings but beautiful clean street and charming with its some classical architecture.. lots of shopping malls and banks.. I miss the fresh sea
foods and many kind of dried fish... stick fish, squid, spada, palad, kagaykay bagungun, kasag/sweet crabs, osyter, green shell, angel wings, dried milk fish, fresh milk fish with batwan and takway, adobo squid, big bisugo, big barakuda, fat fresh tamban etc.. sarap...

Tall buildings are located in the Pueblo de Panay district, where most BPOs and condominiums are located

Some people not convinced that Roxas City Capiz is the seafood capital of the Philippines.. maybe because no extravagant display of seafood and TATC public market cant accommodate lots of vendors squatting outside that looks dirty and messy even though its one of the largest and cleanest I have ever seen public market in Ph. I know right because I have seen it thousand times already personally squatting outside market should address and make market renovate and make it bigger. Roxas City won award for cleanest and beautiful none urbanized city category before, They should continue it and develop more.. many people dont know why Capiz is the seafood capital its because land of Capiz have the largest brackish water fishfond in the country producer of many delicious and expensive seafoods many for export quality like prawn, shrimp, oyster, green shells, clams, scallop, crabs, fish ect.. plus the seafoods from the ocean which is saltier than brackish.. and Capiz seafoods is known for tastier, deliciously sweet seafoods thats why they won the crown.. I think Capiz should display extravagant seafoods thats what they are lacking.

The locals here are allowed to sell their native products along the road but with scheduled hours only . It will help the poor people to earn and advantage for the low income buyers for a cheaper merchandise.

What you see in the local market are rejects. The best quality seafood are delivered to hotels in nearby Boracay or shipped to hotels in Metro Manila.

Frankly, hard to be impressed to be enticed enough to visit this Seafood Capital of the Philippines. It's like my country 50 years ago. Nevertheless, thanks for the honesty.

Which among the provinces you visited city or town do you recommend for a retiree’s like me, I am looking outside the city close enough for hospital, restaurants, Airbnb condos, peaceful but good enough to stroll on weekends, my budget $1700 a month 4-6 months visit if possible few miles from the airport. I am filipino some area’s Filipino are more hostile than a foreigner. Sorry it might offend others I been away for 40 something years. Just planning purposes. Thank you.

Iloilo City, thats one of the top spots for expats, affordable city, close to the airport and hospitals. I never been to davao city but a lot people say it is considered one of the safest and most enjoyable places to visit in the Philippines. (I will visit Davao city next month)

You can buy new unit on the subdivision near SM city Roxas, it's very near to the bay bay beach with seafoods restaurants , very near to the airport and malls and hospital.😊😊😊😊

They badly need a new and modern public market. The one they have now looks like it's more than 50 years old and almost falling apart. It's so congested, not clean, not organized and dilapidated. You missed Pueblo de Panay, a new technology township just outside the city. The location and the planned structures are quite impressive.

Actually ongoing ang repair and construction, ang mga nasa labas ay temporary vendors. Once the repair and construction finished they will be transferred there. Compared to other fish market, it's more organized and clean here. Dito once mag off na ang mga nasa pwesto maglalatag narin ang mga temporary vendors sa gabi at sa madaling araw at least may Kita ang mga temporary vendors.
