Multi Metallic Color Polymer Clay Pendant - Jewelry Making Tutorial - Polymer Clay Jewelry

Today I am going to play with metallic alcohol inks to create this pendant. I am pretty sure that I have never used this much metal in any of my past pendants. I can see how you can create irregular shapes within the large circle and have a very interesting piece. Hope you enjoy the video!

hiya how do you keep the rings from seperating from the clay

Hi there! Thank you so much for watching! When I just pressed them into the clay knowing that I would add resin at the end and the resin would hold them in. If I was not using the resin on top, I would probably press the rings into the clay, bake the pendant, then pop the rings out and add e6000 glue to them. I don't know if bake and bond applied to rings before baking would work because I always thought that bake and bond bonds only pieces of clay together but I might be completely wrong about that.

When did you bake it? For how long?

The temperature depends on the clay you are using so make sure to read manufacturers directions. I baked it for 30 minutes and I did it after attaching the rings but before applying the ink.
