I notice you use an electric stove, prefer it or is propane hard to get at the end of the world? Our home in the south of the USA has electric everything BUT I have a gas stove on propane. Many times I can still cook with the juice off as they say when we get the hurricaine power outages for days as the grid is wrecked by down trees.
