I just found out about her retirement as a soloist. I have been busy for the past two years finishing my degree and landing a job. Watching her in a new identity, i felt really sad. I cried watching her performance. It's like saying to me that as I have found a way to adulthood/grow, Yui found her way too. Yui's solo days are my childhood days and will be now just memories. And now, I have to embrace her new music and create new memories. Yui fighting!

The last album(s) I've gotten from her were the green and orange garden pops. Those were released in 2012. So much has changed since then! Yui is definitely different from what I remember.
I absolutely love love love her songs when it was just her as YUI and they’ll always be close to my heart but her being in a band is also growing on me. It has more of an indie feel to it and is actually really nice to listen to just like her old songs. As long as she hasn’t given up on singing and making music, I’m still a fan. YUI fight-o!
Little Forest brings me here, i really like their music it reminds of a dream pop band The Sundays. The vocalist voice is unique and cute at the same time :)
first time i saw Yui, I can say that she is a bit tomboy . . . So, im not really surprised with her new style . . I love Yui and I respect what she did . . just Ganbatte 頑張って YUI we ROCK ♥

She helps with the song writing, obviously. It is not as dynamic as when she writes it all herself, so the songs come out okay not wow. At least sometimes they play her old songs. It's actually good.

オルタナだね。YUIは洋邦ジャンル問わず凄くいろんな音楽聴く人だからずっとこういう音楽性広いバンドやってみたかったんじゃないかな。
今まで押さえつけられてた分が爆発して思いっきりやりたいことやれてる様に見える。
正直後期のYUIの音楽には個人的にあまり面白みを感じなかったけど、これからまた好きになりそう。
やっぱりこの人は才能の塊だよ。

they are using Yui's popularity to sell what they have, and they can't do that and survive. Needs to be somewhat equal between band members.
