I wrote out a whole comment but can't find it so I'll just rewrite with some additions. Been doing some testing to get this list down to a clean 40 and realized you really don't need more than 1 Mimicry. Even if you hard open him, you can still full combo with Tribute by using Fuzzy. Also I think Pain is cuttable, because if you only open Noir, you can't do anything with just him and Pain, and if you opened Noir and any lvl 4 extender (aka half the deck), you can do full combo with him by just searching Heel. And Roost can just recycle any of the pieces you need to rebuild turn 3
here's the main deck of the list I'm testing and it does everything you guys described:
3x tribute
3x strangle
3x noir
3x fuzzy
3x bloom
3x simorgh
1x mimicry
1x heel
1x foolish
1x skip force
1x raidraptor's force
1x roost
1x trap
15x handtraps of your choice
While I do like the slimmed down list the lack of Raiders Wing for Protection against Targeting Handtraps kinda kills it. I would rather drop the 3 Ash as it's not as impactful. 12 Handtraps don't feel terrible. It's still just reaches the 30% Rule.

I know there was a guy who asked about the PK Rank Up already in the comments, but I highly recommend testing with it a bit if you haven't already. Granted, you don't need it to do the combo, but I have found it to be tremendously helpful at playing through HTs on Raider's Knight if it was not already protected. Has genuinely come up for me multiple times in play testing on Omega where they stop my Knight, I PK Rank Up make Brave Strix, and then I proceed to full combo. Congrats on the tops, you guys and Yacine inspired me to pick up the deck!
Edit: someone in the comments very correctly pointed out that it xyz locks you, so it does not do what I thought it did. Could be a neat going 2nd tool if you get interrupted to go for an OTK maybe.
cool! In that spot you hard drawn PK Rank-Up or added in another way?
I use the PK rank up magic spell to go into rebellion falcon twice on my opponents turn so I get 2 board wipes

I've pretty much just drawn it and a lot of times I have it has come up. There is also a line where you go into Wise Strix first, and if they hold an Imperm for your Raider's Knight still, Wise Strix can grab the PK rank up so you can continue. But that's also assuming you don't grab Raider's Wing at that spot.

Like if you manage to open wing + extender, do you go knight first to play better through a potential nibiru as you already have the protection vs imperm?

Can you explain how are you using Raider's wing? Do you search it in your combo? Do you use it for normal summon when you have an extender? Because if you use it after raider's knight is summoned, it can be too late.
Either you draw it + extender, bloom + wing, or most of the time you make wise strix and ss it from the main deck and use it and another extended to make raiders
you summon of wise strix, forcing your opponent to HT wise strix or you go protected rest of combo. It makes the wise strix bait play even better as it forces the interaction at that spot if all they have are imperm and veiler or targeting effects

@@personas_egoit negates the effect of it on field yes. But, when it’s under a card as material it gets its effect back cause it’s no longer that card.
@@qwyntonrudd7443 While Wise Strix forces the Imperm, I have trouble playing with a negated Wise Strix. His set eff is mandatory, and 90% of the time it will trigger while being negated (e.g when you use Raiders Knight) . Usually, you dont have enough bodies to make a second Wise. Brave Strix has to search Skip Force so a lot of times you dont have access to Rise RUM with negated Force Strix. Only other way is through Roost, but that is already luxury and needs a god hand.
Is 2 RUM enough? Wouldn't you consider add 1 PK RUM? (The one who banishes from gy to xyz) Because RR RUM won't trigger the back row pop from Satellite. It's special summon and then attach the materials so cant trigger if aummoned that way. And Skip force can't bring him u less you use Arsenal Falcon. (And how about adding an arsenal falcon -air raid to discard the RUM)
2 RUM is enough, you can play more if you want but it’s not optimal for deck building or competitive events
So Satellite is more to plan B if new Strix loses target. But wit the con of not popping backrow?
@@manuelpena4488 our end board is 2 towers and making the third on their turn, if they prevent us from making the third they still have to play through handtraps and the trap negate. Our follow up is insane so you win turn 3 regardless. You don’t need satellite unless you get nibbed and don’t have more extenders since you can use it and brave strix to make the 13

Also did either of you two run into much super poly during the event? As far as I'm aware we don't really have a way to play around it right?
To answer your first question, if we had wing + extender we went for knight otherwise we could go wise first and summon wing off wise and make knight that way. It just really comes down to our gut whether we go for knight or wise first you have to decide if you’re playing around nib or veiler/imperm. We don’t always guess right but at this event we did pretty well.
Regarding super poly I only faced one opponent(voiceless) who had it in his deck and I lost to him but he never drew it. The way we play around super poly is we try to end on 2 force strix’s as bait to see if they shotgun it early if they’re smart with super poly they’ll hold out for when we activate the spell but we use that to our advantage. The opponent only has 6 cards to play with. Super poly will get rid of 2, we have the trap typically and we might have handtraps with 2 towers on board. So it’s still winnable going first even if they have super poly.

If you see zero non engine against snake eye fire king are you able to break it or do you pray you see non engine every time?
We tried to maximum the non engine. Playing 15 means you have above a 50% to open 2 of them. Most of the time I just had faith in our deck because our main deck was incredibly solid and very consistent
really depends on how hard he went turn 1 tbh, on my experience you can play through a couple of disruptions if he doesn't mess with raider's wing before it goes to a XYZ monster and if you see bloom vulture in hand

@dabarker.y7465 it was a close game that went to game 3 round 7, then I won my last round and he lost so we both placed out of top 8, just thought it was odd I went against both raidraptor players that tourney

What hand traps are good against this deck?
Did you ever feel you NEED Pain Lanius? I don't see it being as usefull tbh because opening it along with Noir is still good.
If you need space it can be cut because you search heel 99% of the time and if you have heel you could summon it and search a level 4 off noir from targeting heel but sometimes when I’m going for my 3rd force strix it helps having pain as a extra extender.
opinion on fenrir in the deck?
There is another person who asked that below, our logic was it’s bad when they imperm the risehardt and it loses to droll, fuzzy is a better extender!
@@gauravohol1749 ahh that makes sense sense , taking inspiration from PAK how you feel on siding it? Fenrir + multiple HT can sometimes be enough to stop the opp turn
Does nibiru conflict with bloom if going second you open with him after you activate nibiru at turn 1?
If the token is over 3k we put it in attack position and crash if the nib is conflicting with our engine but it’s not always a problem.
It’s worth using nib because if you stop the snake eye deck then it helps our chances of winning more than it being in an inconvenience with our engine.

Completely valid point. It definitely is and has applications going first and second I think we just consolidated since we only wanted to play 15 non engine but you can definitely play 16 or cut 1 for it. Valid theory and argument for it
Do you think Glorious Blow is cuttable? It personally never won the game for me.
If you put up 3 towers you should already be winning so I think it's win-more and unnecessary.
It comes up frequently for me because your opponent will try to react to your rank up spell and it just adds another layer of protection. For example a called by cl2 then you cl3 negate it. What comes up often is opponents making an SP early so if you activate the rank up they will banish your rank 4 on the field and in those situations I chain the trap to negate SP. It can also stop evenly, cosmic, or other good cards.
Blow is too good to be cut. It makes Brave an omni negate by itself, and helps you protect the towers from battle shenanigans, if nothing, it puts pressure on your opponent by simply being there.
I ended up cutting blow/roost package, if you are going second and see any of them in hand might as well scoop
What would you do if a kashtira player banishes the brave strix and you can’t get roost to get it back? Curious because this happened to me on omega with y’all’s list before this one
If you duel against kash and they banish brave then I would try to go for arc rebellion to otk if they have an attack position Kashtira but it is a weird matchup especially if they have shifter.

Do you really think playing fuzyy and thus pure is better than having a fenrir package? Fenrir is basically full combo and aditionally a board breaker
Fenrir package isn’t full combo in the pure version. You don’t get the extra eff of arsenal which is one of the best part of pure. You also lose heavily to droll that way. You search off fenrir and then you need more extenders to play whereas you can easily outplay droll in our build

Fenrir searches riseheart, normal riseheart(no xyz lock) he becomes lvl 7, arsenalfalcon, special noir, noir searches heel, arsenal and heel make wise strix, and wise strix summons another level 4. from that point on, you can make raiders knight and go into another arsenal as he is soft once per turn. So fenrir definetly is full combo
I played both versions, rusty version and pure version and i also think pure is better
@@Ray_437 I think in our considerations we assessed droll and nib would be everywhere and we did not want to lose to either handtrap. Fenrir is full combo if they have only 1 handtrap but every deck is playing 12+ interruptions. I dealt with 2 handtraps almost every game and having fuzzy is a great extender for chain blocking and getting extenders. I don’t think forgoing it for fenrir is worth it especially when it as a board breaker doesn’t do much against the snake eyes fire king decks. I preferred our build which showed results over the theory of fenrir
