    Maybe instead of living in these places like Miami, San Francisco & Los Angeles you can visit these beautiful cities? I live in Arlington, VA but the affordable prices in apartments here gave me the option to visit those cities frequently and not take those trips for granted bc I'm not there 24/7

    • @michaelpatton9573
      @michaelpatton9573 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      The number of people in the city isn't what is the reason for cost of living being high. If it were, the Chicago and Houston should cost as much to live in as Los Angeles. The cost is mostly due to decisions made by the government and influential citizens on how land can be used and how taxes are spent. LA would be much less expensive if they made it easier to build more housing.

    my parents visied america in general, and in florida/miami, is the most expensive place they ever visited. Prices for everything were insane. London is cheap as dirt compared to miami. Not only that, dirt and homeless, mentally ill atactking them, and rich or poor, only to exist. STFU. America is a 3rd world country in their opinion, they actually wanted to move in there.

    • @itsnay7382
      @itsnay7382 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Are you from the UK? Because I am, and London is the fourth most expensive city in the world. Additionally, it's quite troubled; 1 in 50 people are homeless, and in Kensington-a supposedly secure and the most expensive area-1 in 70 are addicted to heavy drugs. Every fourth person is likely to be a victim of theft or violent crime. Imagine spending upwards of 20 million just to step out of your terraced house and get robbed. The government recommends not leaving your house after 7pm unless it's for work or you're in a large group. To add to this, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is imposing taxes on the less affluent. Those entering London with non-ULEZ compliant vehicles are taxed, as are residents with non-electric cars. Now, he's proposing a tax on people with concrete driveways as a precaution against flooding. When was the last time London experienced significant flooding?
