    I still remember the first time I had a Chick-fil-A sandwich, it was the mid 90s and it was the best God @#$% chicken I had ever tasted, and I still haven't had any chicken as good to this day. Paul can keep saying "it's garbage" over and over, but that doesn't change the fact that Chick-fil-A makes my soul ache.
    So I was heartbroken when I found out all that stuff about their management and that they spent their money lobbying against gay rights ... and I never eat their again. Because we have to vote with our dollars. However, Pall, there Chicken tastes like it is a miracle from God so I understand people trying to bend over backwards just for another taste 🤤.

I'm kind of libertarian so I often agree with a lot of 'left" leaning comedians but I get so annoyed by hate filled, unoriginal extremely left comedians with I'm better than you personas and there are a lot of them. while it's safe to assume PFT is probably liberal, because most comedians are, o like how he's measured, and doesn't attack to harshly people that don't agree with him, and I like that he's not political most of the time.

In addition to this they have the best spice mix and breading out of any fast food fried chicken restaurant. I’ll even go as far as stating that they pay a living wage to the youngsters that work for them and that their clientele tends to be in shape because they view fast food as a treat as opposed to a meal plan.

      I don't know why I'm arguing with a 10 year old, but here goes... How is the "gay thing" being discussed publicly "ruling the majority"? Or how would would marriage equality even affect the majority? As PFT says, do you think gay people having the right to marry is suddenly going to cause the break up of "traditional families"? Marriage equality isn't even opposed by a majority, just a large, vocal, and incredibly bigoted minority. Answer me this simple question: why should straight people be able to marry, and gay people not be able to marry? It's interesting though that you're just annoyed about the mere fact that it's being talked about. If homosexuality makes you so uncomfortable, then you might just be running from something bro.

    • @dennisthomas2899
      @dennisthomas2899 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your jumping to conclusions I care less but more important stuff to talk about then this shit like our jobs going over sea's and that were in debt as a whole and we the people did not put ourselves there instead of everybody fighting over sex we should pulling together to stop the other and then worry about people who are attracted to the same sex. Y
      Gays in general are being used by politicians for a distraction but no gays are more worried about them selves and what ing the whole world to know what kind of hole there poking. Gays are selfish people that's all there not a race there not a minority they are a group of people that is using there sexual preference as a way to get attention. gay is not what you are or who u are but the sex u like . so let's get off everyone is so different and rember we are all Americans and the freedoms we had are under attack and pretty much gone. What's "garbage" about good chicken meat? That's the issue with those who think they are more witty than anyone who thinks about things seriously, they have completely arbitrary subjective nutjob ideas themselves... I guess if it's fried, that makes it a bit less healthy, but it's not "garbage" because of it.
    That aside: my argument (though I think it doesn't matter, one can pick and come up with plenty) would be, those chickens died already, and they won't go out of business, aside from that, there are a lot of normal people working there. Etc.
    And his lack of understanding of abstract or hypothetical arguments like that one doesn't know about every other company or business (to which he himself construed the scenario of "investigation" when the argument just speaks of "not knowing" and possibly not being able to know) is just abysmal... It's a character difference but one which is a serious shortcoming in some kinds of understanding and thinking about things.
    Anyway, I also don't hate him, because that would be incredibly small-minded and that's not how it works (and I know he is decently talented or just interesting). He is not a "bad person" who makes me sad and personally spiteful for saying a few things I disagree with or find not perfect (while also saying some things which sound fine, aside from every other time).

  • @slick_Ric
    @slick_Ric 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    disappointing to hear this from one of my former favorite comedians (this particular clip has nothing to do with the 'former' part, i just don't bother with much standup these days), but i guess that's just par for the course these days. near the 7 minute mark his ignorance shows specially badly, but i mean it's the exact same thing everyone seems think, and it's standup comedy anyway so who expects much truth, right?
    but for the record, Christians don't believe homosexuals or any other sinner for that matter is condemned to hell because of any particular sin, they believe everyone is born sinful by nature (Romans 3:23) and everyone is naturally going to the very same hell (Romans 6:23) (usually children/teens are exempted due to lack of real ability to choose, but the Bible isn't decisive either way on this), regardless of how little or lot they've sinned, if they don't repent and believe in what Jesus did on the cross and that he died and resurrected to save whoever believes in him from hell (John 3:16). the question comes up, why doesn't Jesus save everyone and pardon everyone for their sins if he's so loving? well, salvation is a gift (Romans 6:23 again), and nobody can force anyone to truly receive a gift; and though God certainly could, He will not because He loves us enough to give us the freedom to choose how to live and come to Him by choice. also, any real Christian doesn't hate homosexuals at all, they desire that they and everyone else who isn't saved to come to know Jesus as well, which does NOT require living a certain lifestyle beforehand to be acceptable, because everyone is accepted if they come to him humbly, and because Jesus changes everything once you put your trust in him, not the other way around. praying for this man, he used to make me crack up as a teenager, but this bit isn't funny, regardless of ignorance

    • @Jesse-yo7uw
      @Jesse-yo7uw ปีที่แล้ว

      I know this is a 4 year old comment, but a lot of Christian’s DO believe that gays are doomed to hell for the way that they exist, and to pretend that they do not exist just because they don’t make up the entirety of Christianity is both naive and foolish.
