The 960 was probably not sold in France (or french-speaking countries in general), that's likely why the French manual doesn't mention it. I've seen the same thing for Portuguese vs English manuals of the same device before (I'm Brazilian but sometimes I get stuff that came from other countries and stumble upon these details when looking up for manuals). I recently got a Panasonic NV-S5 myself, but I think it'll be more of a shelf item. It powers on from the battery, but quickly powers back off, despite the battery being charged and healthy. The PSU plug is unreliable, and it's chewing tape like a cowboy chews tobacco lmao
I was given a JVC super vhs and I can’t find a charger for it, it has a rechargeable battery and a card but it’s dead and I’m trying to power it up if you have any suggestions or tips I’d appreciate it if not it’s ok
I don’t know if you’ll answer but, I recently bought one and I was wondering if you knew where I could find a battery charger for it? I bought it and it came without the charger but with 2 different batteries that don’t even work. I was wondering if you could help by any chance? Thank you !
I have this camera bought it new from Sears for $400 probably in 2001. It went through batteries fast. Salesman suggested this one and another one $500 that connect to a computer I didn’t have a computer until a few months later so I said no😄
Love the lost footage you see there at the end, clearly of the store it was bought at with the stacks of boxes of other models in shot several times.
Hey yall, to open the tape cassette mechanism make sure the battery is charged.

AC adapter is model AP-V10U.
You can fix the hole in the top of your work bench with ramen noodles and super glue, you know.
Correction: I can fix it if I care. I don't. It is a cheap crappy Ikea table I need to replace anyway.
I want a camera like that.
When I want to eject mine to replace with a new tape it like doesn’t do it (it only opens up) should I change the batteries or??
What camera are u using to film this?

Usually, these camcorders have an Eject button, but they only open if they're powered.
Hey what is the tape size of this?
Are you asking physical size or record time?
Where can I find a battery for this?
eBay.
Can we reecord this on using memory card?
No.
