All around the world people from different regions eat all sorts of things others wouldn't dream of eating, so we should never judge. American also eat some animals one would never dream of eating in Africa. Let's respect the way other people live.❤
There are many things older generations of black Americans ate squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, gators, frog legs and many other critters, especially in the South. I hate what we called Chitlin’s ,pig intestines , no matter how good they cleaned and seasoned them, even now in my 60s I hate the smell, sight of them.. , But my family members do still love them even now enjoy them., buy by the buckets especially during the holidays. Again this was food sources that without they would be left in hunger, so they made good dishes out of these food items, seasoned them well. We are descendants of slaves, were fed what they would give to their hogs, pigs ,given scapes and survived by eating things they would not eat , after slavery eating ,hunting for things to survive as a people. . This included rats, as even in the late Tina Turners book a man when she was young she liked was involved with after she saw ,heard he ate rats, or mouse’s. When she found this out ,she dropped him she was so disgusted,, so others in America during that time have to have ate this also. Again this was way decades ago ,way back, and certain things like this have many stopped eating ,cannot not stomach even thinking about trying now, look at others doing it. This is not disrespectful as there are many things we eat many would not like, or cannot try . Also many Ghanians are in the comments from different areas of Ghana saying they too would not eat this, have not who are from different areas in Ghana.

I am neither in favour of eating any type of bush meat, nor do I approve of it, but in my opinion, a caucasian American, putting a slice of buttered bread to his anus, and pooing on the bread, and adding ham and eating it on video camera, is worse than eating any type of animal. I was born and raised by the sea, and I ate mainly seafood, the smaller ones, and lamb, pork, chicken and vegetables. I became a vegetarian in a relationship for many years, but stopped for a reason. And when I started eating "regular" /omnivore, I avoided chicken, beef, and others. I only started eating chicken about 10 years ago, when after moving to London, l realised the most easily accessible and affordable food in the area I was working, was chicken and chips, which cost half the price of fish and chips, so the days I didn't take any lunch with me, or going home late, my only choice was chicken and chips, and that's how I started eating chicken again.
