    The fully potted PE3 8400 is a very robust ecu and the data logging of 20 hours is awesome , it’s a very nice ecu with a wide variety of set up options all ready built in click the drop downs and select the sensor type and count rising or falling and move on to the next sensor set up , you will need to know your fueling Pulse width to create your base tune , plenty of calculators online to help you with that bit for the price it’s loaded with features that others charge twice as much for

    How is $1000 budget, for $200 more you can get a Holley ecu, or for $800 you can get a Fitec

    • @Glowrc

    So could I bring in a car that's built already and have them build and install the harness etc? I'm sure tuning something isn't an option, but to have the work done so the tuner can do his part would be ideal

    I hope the price point on these is earth shattering... Because none of the features mentioned are anything an budget EMU, MaxxEcu, VEMS or MS3 ecu Can't already do, with already mature software for both laptops and Bluetooth devices...
    The fact that they're local to YOU is a nice bonus for sure
    The harnesses look sweet though...
    What's up with the oil pans?
    PS. 1st Comment!!! 👍

      The ECU runs around $1000 and the race dash is like $400. We are hoping to be $2000 for ECU, harness and wide band O2. That’s a hell of a value if you ask me! I can’t speak for VEMS, but I believe the user interface and standard feature set of this is far better than MS.

    • @BoostBrothersGarage
      @BoostBrothersGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did! I looked at all of the options out there and this is the best bet for a turn key solution. However, people can run whatever they want, we just want to offer a plug and play solution with a full feature set at a reasonable price.

    • @mushasho
      @mushasho 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      PE3-8400 is about 1k as is... Making it plug and play would add to it 400-600 more. Then the question is does a person doing this swap really want to use a 30 year old stock 944 harness to plug this into?
      Or is this a 07k to 944 specific PNP

    • @BoostBrothersGarage
      @BoostBrothersGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The swap harness is specific to 944 / 07K. It will replace the entire engine harness.

    Hi I just look at that pe electronics and I have a ford cosworth 2.9 and no ecu so I'm wondering what it would cost me to get a ecu and harness for that engine?

  • @eric63377
    @eric63377 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    They need to make to where you can control the boost by multiple ways like engine rpm , wheel speed, a g force meter, and also during trans brake engagement and after.
    Also how are the boost tables in this ecm are they by the rpm? If so are the tables in 1's, 10's, or 100's of rpm's?
    Can you pull timing or add timing? If so how is the table setup?
    Can you do cranking retard?
    Can you do either or the crankshaft reluctor wheels on the LS engine?
    Can you also tune the fuel pressure with the boost?
    Does it work with the same GM gas pedal that the Holley ecu wants you to use? (I hope so😊)
    Can you order like a 12 inch screen or a 16 inch screen like the holley race pack screen that has the temperd glass screen?
    Lastly can you change the gauge layout to reassemble actual gauges or be comparable to holley?
    I would like to see a video with a laptop plugged in and tuning done on it.
    Sorry about all the questions but I will soon be in the market for an ecu kit for my race car.
    As an Ohioan as well Columbus to be exact I would much much rather buy from USA and support our people rather than send some ceo in China on his 10000th vacation this year to Dubai😔😑!
    I also have more questions about EGT capabilities and such.
    I hope I get some info thanks guys have a good night.

    Is it possible for them to modify the harness to fit the 07K3 ttrs/rs3 direct injection head. Obviously at an increased price I'm just curious cus I have a ttrs block and a porsche 951 just seems like an amazing combo.

    • @BoostBrothersGarage
      @BoostBrothersGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, unfortunately not. But if anyone can get us a 3D scan of the engine compartment we would LOVE to see if everything fits. I think it will, at least when using the Gallardo manifold, but we have no way of confirming. Do you have a chassis you could at least do rough measurements with?
