I live on the edge of a ancient woodland in UK ,it's over 200 years old and Guy Fawkes rode through it amongst others . You cannot help but fall in love with the old trees here, so hugging just happens as does heartbreak when one falls and dies . I totally get that affirmation as it connects you to a living thing that has been here longer than you and will be here after you have gone ,so they are precious . I feel for you with the menopause symptoms ,I have been struggling for nearly twenty years with them now ,nothing helped, and my body decided that it would go with every damn symptom known to afflict a woman going through it too ,and even now when I am long through it the symptoms hang on ,every day ,urgh it's a absolute joy isn't it
OMG Misty! I’m 53 and I will be going in for a well woman slash blood work to see what my blood work shows about my hormones, as I too am going through menopause now. I have been going through mine for about a year now. I have found that cutting out a lot of the sugar has helped me not to have the hot flashes and night sweats, but I still get warm moments. My hair is also thinning out too. I hope to find out the details to get put on the right track to straighten out my hormones too. I look at it as, I’m not crazy, other people just like to get on my nerves to bring out my not-so-nice at times. I so appreciate this video! I was born in Richmond, IN! My parents live in Ft. You have your moms eyes, and mouth. You're both beautiful. Menopause is no laughing matter. I'm 52, and the past two years, were awful! I had endometriosis. Thankful I picked an amazing Obgyn. I had a full hysterectomy last year, and so glad I did. I take a prescription med that helps with hot flashes, and night sweats. I'm glad you are taking the time to take care of yourself! Misty, sounds like you are on the right track now with your doctor. I’m going through a hard time with menopause too! It’s torture! Finding a doctor that will listen and make a plan is a struggle where I live. Starting a plan. Just want to feel like myself again! It does really feel like you are going crazy! There’s been more research since 2022 and a lot of things around hormone therapy have been dispelled. Read Dr. Mary Claire Haver’s new book called The New Menopause. She is an Obgyn in Texas for 20+ years and now specializes in Menopause and is an advocate. Read her book and don’t be afraid of hormone replacement therapy for Menopause. So many woman are going through so much and no one cares. I’m still trying to get things at the right levels, so so much love and encouragement through this tough time! I get it girl! ❤

My 3 daughters have had hormone panels done. My youngest has thyroid issues and she had it checked because she couldn’t get a few pound off. My oldest daughter found out that she has Hashimotos and she has some really severe problems. She’s been dealing with it unknowingly all of her adult life (47). My middle daughter is fine. It’s definitely worth checking things out! Good luck!!!

Go to a homopathic doctors for replacement for hormone. My mom cant take regular homone medicine. Works great for her. Cut out soda and eat healthy helps with meno symptoms. Drink water. It helps with hot flashes.

Misty… if possible please don’t take Hormones 🥺. I ended up with both of my Thyroids shutting down. So I have zero metabolism and on medicine from here on out. That happened within 6 months.. and I know a lot of women have no problems with taking them. But my experience and what I’ve seen within my circle of friends ( breast cancer, thyroid problems etc) isn’t worth it. There are a lot of natural solutions out there. It’s finding the one that best suits you. Hugs 😊
I went to a Dr. that used Bio-Identicle hormones. They cheçk your blood to see what you're low on . I needed progesterone. Dr prescribed a cream that you apply to your wrist . It worked great for me .

Please share a registry. There is no need to share her wedding. Women are ignored as far as hormone replacement. Once upon a time, hormone replacement was sadly done on older women. This is why all of the horrible side effects were noted. Misty, my ex-husband and I are better friends now. I can't wait to meet your mom.
