Honestly I really loved this Movie. I thought that the trailers to the film were so, so, I was not expecting what such a great story. The acting was exceptional. I would not mind seeing this film a second time. I am not a wrestling fan but, I was cheering for her. I think that the film was a tribute to the human spirit and the never quit attitude of Paige.
I just watched again Fighting with My Family, its on HULU now.. its a great movie. Paige this is your house always.. Great actors who played her family.. and of course Florence Pugh Great job.
Her stage name/working name is Paige Belvis so as a producer, host, wrestler, performer her name will be billed as Paige Belvis. Like Nikki Bella will always be credited as Nikki Bella even outside of the ring.
I kinda cringed when the girl asked about game of thrones tbh.. you could tell lena wanted to talk about the project being discussed and I think there is a time and place to ask certain things ahaha

The WWE makeup team is out of control these days. We just see it on Paige the most cause she was so much more natural when she started in WWE and it was her thing. But other female wrestlers suffer from it too from time to time (Becky for example)
With a doubt, if I were to have anyone roast me verbally, I would pick THE ROCK to do this to me. After I am done crying my eyes out over THE ROCK roasting me, I would re-watch my roasting and laugh my ass off hard over what creative put downs that THE ROCK would lobby at me, haha!!

Without watching the movie, I can assume that at 1:55 that 2 of the wrestlers there are supposed to be Pete Dunne, and Dave Mastiff(nvm, apparently that one is Dave Mastiff).
For some reason wrestling matches never look as good on the big screen as on TV so i hope it doesn't look all Glow wrestling. The story looks great...looking forward to it.
I think it's because they are filmed like a fight scene rather than a wrestling match, you are much closer and it feels weird. Not to mention matches last 1 minute and pushed as being an acceptable length with crowds loving it. With very few exceptions matches of that length are generally met with disinterest.
I saw it, and like the other response stated...most of the wrestling you see is not wwe. Most of it is them fighting locally or page training to try and get a spot in wwe. Only like the last 10 min is wwe and I thought it looked great.
Paige (b. Saraya-Jade Bevis) has a small uncredited role in the film. Lena Headey (Cersei from "Game of Thrones") is almost unrecognizable here, she's so dressed down. Coincidentally, many of the more hazardous wrestling stunts in the movie are performed by various "Game of Thrones" stuntmen and women.
Why in the world would possess someone to ask an actress who is clearly there to promote a movie a question about another thing she has done? If it was an AMA or just her that is one thing. But she is there with the person that the movie is about, and you waste the last question on that? That feels super disrespectful not just to Lena but to the other actors and you know the real-life person who the movie is about. Man. I'm glad she gave her a troll answer at first.
The interview is so "UK" its awesome. Shame we didn't get to see 'Paige's' Mum and Brother more in a direct comparison. Oh and by the way, dear American's please learn how to say Norwick properly.
Overall I liked the film . The scene though where Paige first wins the Divas championship the night after Wrestlemania was no near close of what actually happened especially when it came to how the characters were dressed and the timeline of the events . The wrestler who was portraying AJ Lee, current WWE superstar Zelina Vega, seemed like she was portraying herself rather than AJ, right down to her wrestling gear and the way she spoke .

"she lied" lmao. People change their minds on what they want to look like all the time...she was 19/20 years old when that documentary was being made and 28 now and different looks change with time. Lip fillers were not a "thing" back then but they are now. and her makeup artist went a bit over the top with this but even still it's up to her what she wants to look like.
This interviewer has a calm voice. My entire body just rejects those types of voices to the point I start cringing. It's why I can't watch ASMR videos without wanting to punch something. I wish there were subtitles.
