New support here for you buddy I m in the uk and got the M365 pro from Halfords a few months ago but haven't had much chance to ride, but now with the legislation for electric scooters starting next month I hopefully will be out and about . I still need the car seeing as I live in hilly Yorkshire but this can be put in the back. I am a bit concerned about getting a flat tire as I have heard some tales of woa against the repair or green slime. By the way no worries about your size being an issue I am a 58 autistic and deaf chap with health issues so I will always enjoy the future gadgets Stay healthy most important Best wishes and keep on having fun 👍
ely mental My front inner tube split (no puncture) was a real pain to replace as I had to buy a load of extra tools and it was tricky to do. I thought Halfords sold these with a care package, would be worth getting one if you can.
@@samboom4621 driving flatout all the time then range is about 25km for sure. Slowly you drive better the range is. 30km is not a problem with calmer ride :-). Tire pressure is also very important.
got the non pro a month, 1st thing it needed was added front suspension then new disc brakes and 10" tyres. feels much better and worth it.. changing tyres is an ass though but less punctures with 10" tyres
Sadly it's only aimed at the rental market, not private owners, so technically they will still be illegal, but it has to be said will the police be bothered, or even know what are rented and which aren't.
I waited about 3 months to get my scooter repaired put it in for repair just before the lockdown had to wait soooo long but now it has both tubeless tyres the good ones that feel great to ride on and a cooling system for the front wheel really love my pro escooter its soo good i bought some red white and black decals that make it more seeable in the dark too looking nice 👍

Kac309 brakes are good but you don’t want to slam them on. Unlike this guy I always slow down to pass young children and dogs etc to be ready for the unpredictable.
Matt Shaw yes it does. You just hold the throttle in the same position for about 5 seconds and it will beep then maintain at that speed until you brake.

I fully don't get why the UK makes such a big deal about it, it's fun transport not too fast I won't mind if you needed to be 16+ and have a provisional license and pay road tax like we can ride a moped which is way more dangerous than an e scooter at what 15-20mph, get them legalised. Mate, wear a helmet. Electric Scooters are by far the most accident prone electric vehicles made so far. There were less reports of accidents on electric skateboards than these scooters.

i have been using the new voi scooters in bristol. i agree the e-scooters are not the problem, its the drunk idiots and underage kids that use them in an unsafe and reckless manner that ruin it for everyone else. all i ever see in the news is kids crashing them or drunk people using them but i see so many other users who are using them safely

Does the cruise control only come with the pro? I have a standard see and I know there’s an Eco mode but that just helps you go farther and a slower speed, I’m just wondering if there is a cruise control on the standard and wondering how you activate it?
P K Yeah I just checked took me a while due to the app having region troubles 🤣 thanks though, honestly 5 seconds seems like a long time before cruise control sets in, I find myself going down the street and as cruise control sets in I end up braking to turn a corner 😂

The Pro is much heavier. The regular m365 is already heavy enough, it's heavier than I expected. It seems to me the Pro is only worth the extra cost if you plan on doing serious commuting and need to go much longer distances. Whereas I only want to do a few miles and shortish trips. The Pro is 1cm wider ( big deal ) and 5cm longer. The extra length is probably only necessary for a large male.

Everyone should lobby their local M.P and get it debated in Parliament, because I'm sure the on-going uncertainty will be stopping a LOT of people from buying one, which isn't good for businesses involved in the manufacture and parts-supply for them.

I’ve had mine since, July- august I suggest getting (. ) it goes around the folding mechanism to stop it from shaking and you needing to buy new pins, my xiaomi pro is so sturdy and stable because of it, that’s the only downside.

I have mine from august. 1500 km so far. Awesome machine, not a single problem. BTW custom FW with unlocked speed is the must :)

The brakes on these are really good, they can easily lock if you want, they are really safe

Getting a normal xiaomi m365. Is there a big difference between this one and the pro and how do I get mines hacked to go faster?
The Pro is much heavier. The regular m365 is already heavy enough, it's heavier than I expected. It seems to me the Pro is only worth the extra cost if you plan on doing serious commuting and need to go much longer distances. Whereas I only want to do a few miles and shortish trips. The Pro is 1cm wider ( big deal ) and 5cm longer. The extra length is probably only necessary for a large male.

theyre not really but have seen a few people flying around in them, its at your own discretion I say if theres a lto of crime in your area and the police scan the place a lot you're probs gonna get pulled
question though? Is it now and currently legal to ride a e scooter on public streets in the neighbourhood? I've just bought one yesterday but wondered whether I can ride it in my new development neighbourhood.
I really don't know WHY the government has deemed them illegal to ride ANYWHERE in the UK unless you're on private land, with the land-owners permission, but yet e-bikes are🤔 Jeez, you can't even use them in a damn park!!! Everyone should lobby their local M.P and get it debated in Parliament, because I'm sure the on-going uncertainty will be stopping a LOT of people from buying one, which isn't good for businesses involved in the manufacture and parts-supply for them.

It will pull you but be prepared to kick it up hill unless you zig zag the pro is better for heavier ppl I'm 13 stone and my old xiomi not the pro got me up most hills however got bored quick and bought a zero 10x much more suited for your weight however way more expensive

I’ve had mine since, July- august I suggest getting (. ) it goes around the folding mechanism to stop it from shaking and you needing to buy new pins, my xiaomi pro is so sturdy and stable because of it, that’s the only downside.
