- Jon Snow's Quest to Reclaim Drogon | 5 Mind-Blowing SNOW Theories! Game of Thrones 2023
the first season begins fifteen years after "Robert's rebellion", with which Robert Baratheon expelled the Targaryen from the Iron Throne and proclaimed himself ruler of Westeros. Some time later, and after the sudden death of the Hand of the King, Jon Arryn, Robert invites his friend Eddard "Ned" Stark - Lord of Winterfell - to assume the vacant office. The latter accepts and, as soon as he arrives in King's Landing -the capital of Westeros and seat of the Iron Throne-, he discovers the truth behind a series of intrigues and conspiracies involving other noble families and related to the Arryn tragedy. However, when Robert also dies suddenly, the Lannisters reclaim power and execute Stark to prevent the spread of their investigations. These events unleash a war between the kingdoms.
Drogon didn’t kill Jon Snow because Drogon was sick of the episode, and just wanted to get the fuck out of there!
lol he flew off to find another show!
Glimbus ❤
@@The.Kyle.Scott. Hahaha! Drogon couldn't stand on second more of this shit show!
Lmao...Dragon quit acting after that... He now hangs out with Jack Gleason.
I think the new John Snow show should emphasize on the fact that John died and was brought back. Showing that when he was brought back by magic his Targaryen side came back stronger. Meaning he is immune to fire 🔥 and he has a deeper connection to the dragons 🐉. Also Drogon knows who John truly is. There is so much story left to tell. I just hope they do it right.
Because he is that prince that was promised made of fire and ice 🔥❄
Would also live it if he finds Giants too .. an Army of dragons Giants and walking dead to hold back .. something much worse.. would be cool 😢
Drogon accepting Jon would be the ultimate betrayal to Daenerys
It will never happen, if drogon is the last dragon then jon ain't riding no dragon
I know Deanaris died in the finale, but what if, just as Jon did, she was resurrected. PErhaps this time, she could be an antagonist to Jon, wanting revenge on him for killing her. I know this is a stretch- atleast for a regular role- given Emilia Clark is probably doing other things, and she even said herself that ger character should be left dead, but it's an interesting thought in my opinion
Drogon melted the throne of swords, not John. Because he knew the throne was what killed Daenerys. The cost to obtain the power of the throne drove her mad. And out of that madness ordered Drogon to massacre kingslanding. Drogon could feel it , senced it was wrong. And John had to stop the madness.
Her best friend was beheaded in front of her she did what she needed to
Never, never would I trust Cersei.. it would have been just like her to ring the bells and then attack
Jon is also a targaryan, the last one, so he was the boss
@@angelb1769 No, she did what she hoped she would never do, she became the queen of the ashes
Lol dragons are creatures of chaos. They dont know "right n wrong," nor do they feel remorse, only a connection to its rider. Did the books show a way drogon felt any remorse after roasting that little girl while hunting around Meereen? 🤔🤷
You also forgot that while Jon was touching drogon they looked into each other’s souls and he knows Jon has a good heart n plus his bloodline and plus the theories in this vid is a solid foundation why drogon didn’t eat Jon
Yessssss
Or just admit it was bad writing
@@SwagYolo69420no ever said it was good writing! This was answering the question put forth!
Now that would definitely be awesome👏🏼to see in the Jon Snow series(sequel to Game of Thrones Universe) Jon Snow find, reclaim and ride Drogon flying together defeating other dragons including Ice dragons, the Kraken and what other dangers they face.
If George R.R. Martin has included in his novel series I hope HBO include showing this part into the Jon Snow series(a sequel to Game of Thrones Universe.)
A dragon had no problem burning and eating Rhaenyra in Dance of the Dragons so it wasn't Targaryan blood that saved Aegon/Jon.
Sunfyre was under the control of Aegon II of the greens though. Syrax wouldnt have burnt her cos he was under the control of Rhaenyra, he would have defended her
@linzianna, it's been a minute, but wasn't the point whether or not a dragon would kill a Tagaryan? That's the point to which I responded.
Thanks for the spoilers you loser dorks!!!
@@lanubienne2883yeah, drogon did not Jon because his mother did not command it
As much as I love all things game of thrones /asoiaf, GRRM should be legally and physically prevented from all tasks except from finishing the last 2 books.
I think Daenerys and Drogon were linked, but Drogon also had his own thoughts and feelings, which became clear when she died and the link was broken. I believe Drogon was always jealous and resentful of the Iron Throne and Daenerys’s obsession with it. Her dying enraged him, thus his destruction of the throne.
Ah no, the wall was not rebuilt. The Wall is 300 miles long, the section that was destroyed was at the far eastern end, at Eastwatch-By-the-Sea, Jon and the Wildlings ride out from Castle Black which is about 150 miles west of Eastwatch. About 90% of the scenes from the wall are at Castle Black.
I’m on Jon’s side. In the end he will do the right thing for mankind and to keep the legacy alive
I believe the Stark's family history will lead back to the first men that lived in westeros with the tree folk. And the Tyrgarion bloodline would lead back to the Goddess of air. That would make John snow the only descendant of the God of earth (the 3 eyed raven) and the goddess of air ( the real mother to all dragons). Or in the new gods, the father and the mother created John Snow.
I think there is reason dragon did destroy the throne was because he knew that Dany was changed over the throne and Jon was not yet affected he destroyed the throne so it would not corrupt Jon too
Makes no sense. If Drogon cared about John then why did Drogon disappear instead of staying with John? Your theory stinks
@@SwagYolo69420theory’s are there are dragon eggs somewhere remember when drogan left for awhile in the books dragon s can be either sex or he took her body off to a sacred place to either be buried😊 or resurrected like John
Amazing video as always 👏
If Queen Deanerys isn't brought back I will not watch it. We never saw Dany say DRACARYS during the destruction of King's Landing.
I'm worried this series will never get made, honestly.
🦉Dany was able to bring the dragons to life bc she was given a hint of what to do, (she thought it strange herself), it was their destiny~
👉🏿 Drogan could smell Targaryan blood in John & he could not harm him even when he killed Dany yet Drogan understood his mother's mental instability of rage, anger bc he too felt that "taint"within himself ~
👉🏻 To a degree, he didn't trust her esp. when he saw Rhaegal & Viserion being placed into the dungeon but not for him, so he took off ~
🤷🏽♀️ Yes, they had a spiritual connection that goes back hundreds of yrs. & the wall also had magical powers added while it was being built~
🙋🏽♀️ I know it's fantasy & that's my 2 cents on the subject & I look forward to seeing your next update, Thx 👍🏽
Hmm I thought the Night King was the 13th Lord Commander at the Wall. Doesn't make sense that he was the one made by the children of the Forest. Except the one in the book and in the series are different ones.
I want to know how the wall was created. There are so many more stories needing to be told in this saga. The wildlings weren't that big a threat were they? It was the Night king and the white walkers it was meant to keep out.
I think all we've really heard about that is that Brandon the Builder (Stark ancestor in the age of heroes) built it with the help of the children of the forest.
My head fiction plot -- If Bran/3 I'd Raven is the malevolent character that has come to be suspected he is, then think he would have then been manipulating Daenerys's "madness" not necessarily controlling Drogon directly. Controlling Daenerys gave him indirect control of Drogon... That would then of course lead to Jon killing her because of what she had apparently become. When Jon discovers this as well as everything else Bran/3 I'd Raven did to gain control of Westeros, Jon will feel it his duty to save Westeros if not the world from the 3 I'd Raven and what ever else may be behind the 3 I'd Raven e.g. perhaps a faction of the children of the forest taking over Bran to exact vengeance on mankind.
Very good theory! Now that you say that that’s super interesting about Bran. Maybe he’s the real villain after all? I hope they resurrect Daenerys for the love of all things GOT.
Very implausible wargs take over human minds. Daeny's actions were her own driven by probable Targaryen madness(which usually begins in adulthood, as with Arys-the Mad King who had been quite normal, until he wasn't, right after him being captive and tortured - saved by Bariston Selmy). You could also tell by her dialogue after King's Landing was destroyed. She'd completely flipped!
@@m.williams4971 what about Hoedoor?
Lots of fan fiction in these comments 😂
Sorry but Drogon picked up his mom and flew 2 Volantis. Drogon is taking her 2 the Red Temple of R’Hollor. The Red Priests and Priestess ready 2 wake her from the dead. I just hope she's learned her lesson. Drogon could also leave a clutch of eggs in Old Valyria.
She broke the wheel and four more rolled in😢oh Dany I’m so 😞
Wasn't the Nights Watch purpose towards the end was believed to be there to protect them from the dreaded "Wildings"?
That became a purpose in the minds of prejudiced Westerosi people who couldn't get past their hate of Wildlings. It was never a good mission statement. Jon tried to get them to remember why they were truly there.
So instead of the iron throne will there be an iron foot stool..lol...Bran needs his version of Lee Harvey. Maybe the faceless man
Jon’s quest to reclaim Drogon my foot 😂
😂😂. Some people just delusional. Killing a mother and claiming her son 😅
To be fair the only spin off I'd like to see is the rebellion
We are currently publishing the series about the rebellion. Watch it on our channel.
Making bran an antagonist isn’t suddenly going to make him interesting
Who else is the Prince? It's so obvious.
Unless the twist is Danny. I like the other theory that she will be the dark one beyond the wall that will threaten the Westeros. Maybe Jon Snow will go back and save again the kingdoms.
Swapped element:
Dany - ice dragon
Jon - fire dragon
JON & DROGON WILL BE TOGETHER 🤗
Why would he do that when he got dragon eggs in the cribbs in winterfell
I hope that they make more GOT with Jon Snow as the main focus
9:37 you say about winter coming again and showed craster what if one of those babies are still in the North in the ice castle and snow heads there with tormund something like that maybe or the said whitebaby 😂 tries to get little sam coz i think you said in another video that the night king wanted him back as he was suppose to replace the night king
So basically the nights watch is the men in black
The wall was damaged at East Watch by the Sea, that shot was in Castle Black, diferent places.
I'm curious how Snow would communicate with the dragons, but he doesn't know Valyrian.
Bad writing
Hey 3-eyed words, I want to find out the lottery numbers... let's do half and half...!
4:46 I thought the Children of the Forest built the wall or at least had a big part in it.
Here's a random question... how did Osha and the other wildlings pass the wall and get to Winterfell. Did I miss something???
They mention a few times Mance sending groups over the wall, some crossed around Eastwatch in boats or went through the paths near the western edge of the Wall
@@tristanshelton168 thanks!
Bad writing.
They kept manning the wall because of the Wildings..
Killing a mother and claiming her child is kinda BS. Especially when that child breathes fire😂
i think there beign ice dragons in this universe would be crazy i just hope it wont get out of hand like the marvel verse which i think has just gone to hell
What if life and death is different for ( Mother of Dragons?) Where did her Dragon take her ? Did he know where to take her body? That she may live again.😁
Good video thank you.
I want them to get busy and make this series. Like so many I gave a part of me to GOT and Jon Snow. The clowns that destroyed the end of one of the greatest stories ever told through a television, should be hunted like they are prey. The Snow series could give the story one of the greatest come backs ever. I'm probably already expecting and wanting to much from it. If we could get CGI makeups of the former showrunners and they could do the first scene of the first show with a slow run in on two men tied to a stake in a waste land in the north. The only other characters present are the only known living dragon, and Jon Snow. When the scene comes into focus Jon turns and looks up at Drogon and says one fateful word .
Drakeris and Drogon turns those two filthy slime into ash. When done Jon climbs on the dragon and it spreads his wings and takes flight. As they gain altitude Jon begins the memory of what led him to that place and what made him burn those two idiots to ash. In that memory the series begins. From that point forward the show is just Jon's memories. In doing that everything or nothing that happened in the final season can be rewriten. The slate is clean and the first season of Jon Snow can be the truth of what really happened in season 8 of the original. We don't go live until season 2.
What if the wall is a sleeping dragon...or under the wall there's something...
They at least need to properly man all 5 castles, and repair the damage.
Jon will not become the antagonist of his own sequel. So that job will fall to Bran and Saunza. Bran will raise dragons to fight Jon who will end up riding Drogon. Yet I can't figure out where Ghost will ride. See Jon will need to cross the sea to find Ariya so she can be the warden of the north while Jon looks for the great power hidden in the far north. Killing that power may save his brother. The series will end SamWell Tarley will sit the iron throne. The absolute last person anyone would think could be King.
Swap out Samwell for Hot Pie and then we're cooking with fire.
@@realBatman-89 I'm not sure who hot pie is? I saw Sam attaining the throne as a huge irony. His father told him he would be nothing. That he was worthless. Then Danny kills his father and brother ( Dickon ) then in the end he ends up on the throne. Big irony.
If your reply was ment to be mean, then I can pretend to be crushed by the razor sharp wit. Well that is as soon as you explain it.
@@jssomewhere6740 Hot Pie is the guy Ayra run into at the Inn after killing the Freys and was heading to Kings Landing, and told her about Jon returning to Winterfell. He was also part of the group in S2 being taken to the wall that Ayra was hiding with.
@@Harldin thanks was drawing a total blank on that one 👍
I also can see him being behind Sam as far as who do we think will end up on the throne. Yet it would be good to have a King that can bake bread that looks like a wolf well kinda.
5 castles? There are 19 castles that man the wall from the shadow tower at the far west end all the way to eastwatch by the sea at the opposite end albeit only 3 are manned in the series
Let it go. Not gonna happen. Season 8 was as far from cannon as it could possibly be.
I think the smelting of the throne was a symbolic act meant to stimulate the audiences thoughts into why Drogon did this and the bond between its human rider. I look forward to Snow when it arrives and hope it entertains as much as GOT did.
Snow is canceled
@@SwagYolo69420I’ve heard conflicting reports. Still there has not been an official report it was canceled that I can recall. I think the likeliest scenario is that it is still in its development phase (shelved for the foreseeable future). Jon was the hero of the show. I don’t think they would pass on that opportunity. I think what will probably end up happening is they will wait several years. Let a decade or so under Bran’s rule go by and then Tyrion comes and fetches Jon back to kings landing to save the kingdom from his tyrant cousin. Bran was literally the worst option for king imo. He knew how all the events would play out, and he let it. A man who knows everything can manipulate the realm for a completely self serving agenda.
Just because Daenerys died doesn't mean she's dead. The gods revived Jon from the dead, and there's no reason why the gods can't revive her as well. If the show is just about Jon's life beyond the wall, then the show will be a flop. The white walkers are gone, the wildlings are allies, there will be no tension. The wall is irrelevant now. It's also still winter.
Are wargs and dragon riders the same thing? Both taking over animals telepathically?
Have you ever thought! That in books it was the Lord of Bones that was burnt alive and not Mance Rayder by the Red Witch. Because he is still alive.
As history has a tendency to repeat itself, this might happen yet again. There’s an additional Siri that I was thinking about as John Snow currently went up to the north, and is exiled they are for the time being much like his name, sake, another Jon Snow he who was forgot.. and the nearest has passed away or is dead. What if she comes back as the ice queen or the Winters queen and he John Snow lake his predecessor falls for the ice queen
I don’t think older dragons bond to their lineage riders as much as their first rider. Vhagar was an old beast, and fought and flew along side the black dread Ballerion. There is no way he was as soft or connected to any rider after Visenya. Visenya was his true blood rider.
Jon Snow would only intervene in an issue with his family or to do something that was the right thing to do… So, here’s the starting of the first episode…
A person from the North will somehow find their way to Jon, most likely by injury. Free folk find that person and bring him to Jon. He’ll recognize a sigil and decide to return that person home (do whatever’s right, no matter what). Jon’s friends at the Wall have all died and he moves on through, heading towards the lost person’s home. During his stop in Molestown, he’ll overhear a conversation of conspiracy against the Starks or Bran, prompting him to pick up Long Claw and do something about it.
*Queue Games of Thrones theme song* lol
The wild is not described well in the show ..there's no map. Where the walker stays or live. Any mountains, caves or underground?
well i would like to see john snow find an ice dragon
So why are the Wildlings and the Giants the only ones we know beyond The Wall??? What how and why are they there??? Should be something to look at, should it not???
Funny no one is asking these questions….
Ice dragons and maybe Arya finds one to the west of the great west
the wall in the last episode is not rebuild its under castle black and the wall night king destroy was under eastwatch castle
It'll be total bullshit if he claims drogon
Riders can reconnect with another dragon, and dragons who lost riders can find another. It's totally plausible.
It won't happen. I think
Yes bran controlled the dragon to grab dany and fly away where he cant be found mhmm makes sense completely logical
Not.
The wall was still there because wildlings were beyond so yeah there was an explicit reason.
Uh no, the Wildlings simply happened to be on the other side when the Wall went up. The explicit reason, told time and again, was to keep the White Walkers out.
@@m.williams4971 initially it was, but when John went there, wildlings were tue sole reason for them to stand there. I think you ought to get the point now.
Too Damm many ads.
This is the wrong title as Jon had never claimed him before he road Rhagarl
Jon Snow has to get the horn of winter but Euron Greyjoy has it and the guy who blew it once was Cragorn he died of the fire that was inside that horn but Jon is Fire and Ice and will extinguish the fire with the ice he has in him and the wall will fall to let all the people of this world to kill all the white walkers again. Just wish the book Winds of Winter would come out soon and the other one so mixed up with the TV series and the books not the same !
You are probably thinking of the dragon horn. Samwell has the horn of winter with him in oldtown in the books. He found it with a cache of dragon glass at the fists of the first men
@@linzianna In the books Tormund and Mance told Jon they thought it was the horn of winter but it wasn t but I really think that Greyjoy has the horn the real horn
He can't. That's not his dragon. He was the rider of Rhaegal and once again a loyal animal took second place to his bullshit. Screw Jon. Hope Drogon eats him.
Bro, what about the cannibal, perhaps the biggest fire dragon ever? What if he is alive, balerion died at about 300 years old, the cannibal could be still alive, bigger than ever and waiting for a rider
Waiting for a rider??? Do you even know the true story of this dragon?
@@m.williams4971 I meant that It could be tammed by john if he is alive, I know the story.
Cannibal was older than Balerion. Balerion got so large in his old age he could barely move at the end of his life. The Cannibal has definitely passed away as well. If you go by the lore.
@@voodoodarlin6488 not true, balerion was already dead at the dance of the dragons and he died at 282 years old so that makes about 300 since balerions death and tge canibal was alive, to ad more, the canibal has a special diet to call it this way, he could be alive a the time of got. Or jon could tame an ice dragon
The cannibal was around 200 years old a the time of house of the dragon
I always thought it so strangers Jon wasn't bonded more with his dragon.. let it fly off alone and get shot down? This isn't realistic. If Jon's dragon died he would have been on it LL Ike daemon
Perhaps there wasn't enough time. Jon knew Rhaegal for a maximum of a few weeks. Most likely less. Daemon claimed Caraxes as a boy.
These theories are dragonshit crazy lmao
So all the Targaryen kings knew about the long night coming for thousands of years and then when it finally happens none of the 7 kingdoms help. Just the nights watch and northmen defeat them. Therefor all that untiting the realm crap was worthless. White walkers couldn’t even make it passed Wonterfell lol how dumb. Bad writing!!!
Every video you talk about the SNOW series. Guess what? It’s canceled. Give up the poop theories already
