couple cans of instant foam and you don't even have to tear the machine apart because the nozzle fits in most places. seals up every single hole there is and then use a straight blade to trim any excess. works great!
Cab seal, fender walls sealed and sound deadening should be standard for machines in this price range. It ends up done by end user because the dealer install hourly rates make it cost prohibitive.
I agree this should be installed when the machine is built. We have a 900 and 1000. Wish u would do this for the 1000 the video is a lot more helpful than the instructions that come with the kit.
Riding in the dust and dirt is part of the fun and experience of off-roading. If I didn't want to experience the fun of off-roading, I'd take my family car which is sealed probably better. I wear a painter's paper dust mask to reduce my dust intake. How can you identify a happy off-roader? By the grit and bug parts in his teeth.

I was told the Polaris was a great machine. We spent big bucks on one , a brand new 2017. So I found out I cannot pick the color I want if I want air conditioning! That pissed me off. So no air conditioning. Then I discovered just how CHEAP these things are made! We spent $27, 000 , got a few "accessories " , Now you'd THINK when customers spend that much for a toy , they would make them better......the thing is FULL OF DUST CONSTANTLY! And we are told there is nothing they can do. On top of that we have not owned the machine a full year yet and it has been in the shop getting fixed THREE TIMES ( naturally after the warranty expired.........of course.) We do not drive the thing rough....we stay on roads, it is basically a fun mode of travel between farms. So far I am very disappointed in the machine I saved my entire life to own. You'd THINK the company would cater to the customer a little better. And YES! These so called seal kits SHOULD be installed on ALL of them.
Polaris should provide this from factory installation,they know this the buyer doesn't ,can't ride the ranger 900 xt eps without choking on the dust ,what can Polaris do for the consumer???
They don't do shit, have you ever called there and gone through the shuffle??? I asked if corporate lawyers owned Polaris? Flew over her head and she told me their on the nasdaq ! Price some nuts and bolts there for your machine you'd think they were made of gold! Pretty unreasonable prices.
man im fucking terrified to drive the 900 I JUST purchased ! I thought I did my research beforehand.. between the hard shifting , belt , reverse chain, Polaris specific " gas it " driving instructions , oil consumption horror stories ....and this bullshit option that most definitely should have been factory installed! im gonna be waiting for the malfunctions. its all good though guys just call the dealer or several. youll all rest easy when they say "its all good man ! that's just how they are , but hey have you considered this extremely pricey extended warranty?" I guess it was only 15 k
Polaris is a joke the customer service sucks they dont care i wish there a another manufacturer that was comparable to the ranger....here's the part number for foam kit #2879385 beware its over 200.00 for some foam

I don't expect much. But I would expect something like this being factory installed since dust is a massive problem on all SxS vehicles.
