So, I saw a lot of people started to hate Six after what she did, but I think things are not so black and white. They're children in a horrible world and are acting how they think is best when no one taught them kindness or love. That being said, the ending still broke me, so I wanted a universe where Six decided to go back for Mono and they escaped together, while also showing the struggles of them both. They're both people, so they're complicated. They're not simply 'good' or 'bad'. Now, I made this animatic and another thing, which is a fanfic that depicts this same situation in a slightly different way. I love how you showed that Six felt Guilty. To me their kids that never knew kindness or friendship so I’m glad you let them express emotions. Like Mono felt sad but doesn’t resent Six like everyone else views. Six felt Guilty about her actions to where it would make her cry instead of everyone thinking that she was emotionless and she never cared about Mono. Thank you.
Honestly if Six went to save him before Mono grew up he would've not resented her so much is my belief but Thin Mono was stuck there for so long repeating the same events that led him there over and over again, it's not that suprising to find that he started resenting Six and his younger self after god knows how much time.

I'm always impressed by creators like you, like every once in a while there's a talented person making an animation about a certain game that leaves me baffled they always have something in store to surprise me, from the music to the animation, hell even the story they wish to tell the viewers even without words are always so good it's just beautiful to see animator's like you.

A-FREAKING-GREED. Six and Mono are kids. They’ve never been taught better and had to fend for themselves but they’re also still human. And I love this fic for that! It’s amazing
I played little Nightmares today! And I might have a theory. Since LN2 is a prequel, I've noticed Six's behavior when you don't touch the controller, she looks around like she's looking for someone and she wipes her eyes like if she's crying! So in my opinion, she regrets what she did and she just misses Mono a lot! I still have faith in Six!

The idea that six goes back and opens the door is SUCH a cool idea. I want to see a DLC spinoff where that happens.
Edit: BETTER IDEA! That would be the premise of little nightmares three. We know that the first game takes place after the second, where she absorbs the ladys power, therefore, she is not hungry anymore. What if she dropped mono cause she knew she couldn’t hold herself back. But with that new power, she isnt hungry. So she could go BACK and save him. Instead of a DLC, it would be the sequel

She wasn’t hungry through any of the game though I think it makes more sense that the shadow six is her soul and when she lost it she betrayed mono and started getting hungry. I guess they could make little nightmares 3 about a different person being effected by the ‘time loop’ that’s happening and they try to stop it or something idk

I love your opinion that, both Mono and Six are a human being, a child most importantly that is forced to survive the cruel world and forced to act maturely beyond their understanding sometimes. Both have their own problem, and both are just trying to choose the option they think is right.
Humans are complicated and we cant judge or label someone out of spite just because they did something seems so evil. Sometimes.. there's a bigger meaning behind it. I trully disagree with lots of people who either label Six as a demon child, or Mono as the first bad guy

That part of the song matches both Six and Mono. They both harmed each other in different ways Mono harmed Six by no exactly understanding her and Six harmed Mono by betraying him.

Am i the only one who is still hoping that six will be back for mono? Mono save her a lot of time and whenever she gets caught he always finds a way to see her and save her again and my foolish self still cant accept the ending and if ever there will be a little nightmare 3 this time she will be the one who will be saving mono. But i dont think that will happen, in the end it was already show on how mono turn into a thin man That should be mean that time has already pass as he grows old sitting in a chair not even moving a bit and just waiting.....but six never came back...
yeah, but ln2 is a prequel, and by the poster six looks at on the secret ending, she’s probably going to the maw as soon as she’s left the city. assuming the mono we play as becoming the thin man was a full cycle and not just a montage of what he will become, a lot of time has passed, meaning six has probably escaped the maw and has the lady’s powers, and mono is fully the thin man with the cycle starting back over. i doubt after the first game six would return to the pale city, and if she did end up returning, her powers might just suck the life out of our mono, leaving only a bad ending if she were to come back. or an epic boss fight, but it would probably end with one or both dying, which also wouldn’t be very happy either.
so yeah, as much as we all want it, i doubt six would return.
I like this better than the sappy "Oh Six has no issue and just pulls Mono up like nothing happened." It just feels more in line with the tone of Little Nightmares, if it had to have a happy ending then it's be something like this.
The only other somewhat happy ending I can think of is the Thin Man realizing the nature of the cycle and never going after the kids when the door is open. "The cycle ends with me" kind of deal. It's a shame I don't have an artistic bone in my body or else I'd try to animate it.
I'm just imagining that everything that happened was just a dream for Six,she will wake up at once in a much more beautiful world with all of her friends and family there,she and Mono will go to school like any other child would and never have to experience anything as cruel as this😭😭😭

It's now October 10, 2023, and I spent the last 3 days reading the entire fanfic (including the Racoons one) and I have to admit this was by far the best thing I've ever read in my entire life. The story was truly a masterpiece, and 16 were portrayed so well. It deserves more than a 10/10, I cried at the ending, seriously the best fandmade LN content I've ever seen

I remember I found this animatic first, amongst looking for Little Nightmare animatics wayyy back when it came out recently-
I remember it VERY CLEARLY because I know I was at my aunt's house watching Little Nightmares gameplay and animatics on their TV screen...
And then I found this one and I CRIED so SO HARD... And then I read the descriptoon and thERE'S A FANFIC!?!??! So I read Forgiveness and I swear to god I cried and I made fanart and everything (I cant find the art but I swear to all that is good I WILL find it) and I checked Raccoons and that was only on like 3 chapters so I watched it update up until chapter 11.....
When I fell out of Little Nightmares the fic slipped my kind, but upon my online sibling playing Little Nightmares 1 and 2 for the first time, it brought me back.
AND THERE'S 42 CHAPTERS NOW OH MY GOD????? OH MY GOD.... 1. You are doing god's work you are incredible. 2. I HAVE TO CATCH UP! 3. Sorry for the long rant I just wanted to say this thanks for reading okay bye!

As good as this is , I want to see it as she comes back to save Mono but Mono is betrayed with no explanation, reason, and left to suffer. When he sees her he will go into a frenzy of rage and will try to kill making him a new bad guy Mono will hunt her down killing all the old enemies with his new powers while Six relies that freeing him broke the chain but untill his bloodlust to destroy Sasha is gone he won't stop. At the end everyone is killed except 6 and mono and when mono realizes that 6 dropped him for being the Thin man he goes back to the chair and sits there bringing back a full loop
wow this song is actually perfect for both of them tbh i would have loved this ending because technically the loop would have stopped and they could have went on together
