Why would you bother with some Herominers if Hive on has mining RVN and ETC for free and they pay transactions fees as well ?!!!! Hive on is very good pool, I had never issues, easy setup..I just hope that ETC will drop confirmations as well..Any news on that ETC conf. drop?
Just because you think you are physically closer to USWest doesn't mean it's the closest in terms of networking. You should use traceroute to the different pools and look at hop count and ping times to find the fastest for your location.

The reason I ask is I started mining using HiveOS and their RVN pool and after a day switched over to unmineable and it appears to me that the rewards are much higher on unmineable. My thinking is because I am telling HiveOS to mine ETC and get paid in RVN that my overclocks stay the same as ETH so I get a much higher hashrate. Canada Rocks !!!!!! Go Leafs Go !!!!!
Hi I been trying to mine rvn for the past 3 days in hive but can't get my rigs to work on it. I have a 1660s super rig a 580 8g rig and a 1070/1080 rig. After hours of trying got the 1070/1080 rig to work but will crash every 15 minutes then have to hard cycle. Right now I got all of them mining Flux. Any tips would be appreciated

I mine the same hash (17.5 MH/s) on both 2miners and ravenpool and my daily rewards are estimated to be the same on both. About 5 coins per day. So I can use either one and get the same results. But does it really matter?

I test with the 2miners ping test and USWest is always better then eastern canada for me.

If your mining a coin that's more profitable then yes you will get more rvn.

Payouts are each hour if you hit the min amount needed for that times payout
