​@@algeriabrawl late replay but i had the same problem and no solution so i started messing around as i noticed the x360ce was recognizing the controller as input 1 you can check with the XInputTest so i knew the controller needed to be assigned input 2 so modify the x360ce file ,change [PAD1] index to -1 so the software ignores first imput and change [PAD2] index to 0 ,then save it to desktop then copy it to the game folder and replace it and start the game with the keyboard all the way to the split screen where you add 2nd player then press the Y button ,it might be different on your controller you can check which one is which from the XInputTest as it'll light which button is linked to which on your controller

u can play 2 players on the same laptop keyboard
for the 2nd ull have to prees + key on the right ull add one the controllers for him is arrows u know for left and right and forward and down use the numbers in the right and idk search for controls
