    Your swing is so smooth, controlled & explosive. It would be perfect to emulate for anyone who wishes to become a great hitter.

    Hey girl! I just found your TH-cam and I absolutely love it! Could you do a video for drills to not drop your back shoulder?

    Another great video. As a coach I have a couple of girls who pop up, but also don't keep their eye(s) on the ball. I think this drill will help them. I also have a girl who rolls her back shoulder when she swings basically chopping at the ball. Any drills to help with that?

      Put a another tee with a ball right in front of the one they are hitting so they have a visual on where the ball needs to go (it should hit the ball on the tee in front). More line drives

    Do you know of a drill to stop starting the swing before the front foot lands? Thank you

      Have them load and pause in their load to feel hands back and separated with the front foot down. This just helps them feel where everything needs to be before they fire.

    Do you have any tips for timing your hitting?

    • @MegRemSoftball

      Start getting into the load as the pitcher is coming up, about over the top. I always say foot needs to be down 2/3 of the way to the batter. Better early than late.

    If we use another object besides the 2nd tee, should we still sit a ball on top?

    • @MegRemSoftball
      @MegRemSoftball  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, not needed! Just something to give you the visual to stay inside the ball!

    This is one of those drills that simply HAS to be done with either a coach (behind screen) pitch or a pitching machine. During a game, the player will be focusing on the pitcher as they deliver the ball, followed by turning their attention, when the ball is about 15 ft. away to the contact point. So their head goes into a head down mode, their eyes focusing on the upcoming contact point while tucking their chin to their collarbone. MLB Nolan Arenado is a great, almost exaggerated example of the head down technique. th-cam.com/video/ZOjNhZYQh6U/w-d-xo.html
    Your swing really is technically sound.
