I was confused why the enemies were dying so quickly... YOU'RE OVER TWICE THE RECOMMENDED LEVEL!!! Atleast I know it isn't that I just suck lol. I hope you're enjoying your playthrough, and i would recommend **exhausting** all of the dialogue of each NPC you see :)
You should talk to the man sitting on the throne. And dive into the lore of that big sleeping wolf… maybe farron keep, the wolf, the abyss watchers, and that mysterious mushroom tie back alllll the way to oolacile. Perhaps the blood of the wolf is a hint.
I actually have, unfortunately I had to cut it out due to viewer retention, I even got some boss souls infusions (havel's ring) from him already. I also am aware of ludleths lore and that farron keep is oolacile/dark-root! I was informed of this off camera when I looked up the Farron Greatsword (abyss watcher's sword).
The algorithm brought me here and it did good in doing so. Very well edited video and criminally underrated channel. Hope you get into the algorithm of others more often.
Colossal weapons like that BKGS have some solid hyperarmor for sure, but it takes a second longer than you might expect to spool up...if an attack is quick enough, like the evangelist book attack, they can knock you out of your attack before you get into hyperarmor frames. We've definitely all felt that frustration many, MANY times :)
You lost the Sorceries, that mage npc is problematic, if you don't give at least one scroll of sorcery then he will leave the momment you defeat the boss of Farron Keep (Abyss Watchers). At least try to keep alive the Onion Knight, his Quest can give you a very valuable item. (You are the most Underrated and cooler TH-camr i know, keep going Ashen On....no....keep going DARK LORD OF HOLLOWS)
You were pretty op for the abyss watchers and the black knight sword made it to easy, otherwise with a regular weapon you would have got clapped. PONTIFF MF SULYVAHN will humble you
Most people aren't going to click on a video of series or might ignore it completely if it's mid-play through, hence the re-occuring titles (it's also more open ended since there are multiple locations/chapters of a video that make it hard to focus the title on 1 thing). Not to mention the title still accurately describes the video as-well. I Also have a note on the top right (in the intro) that has the entire playlist in order!
Might try some video titles like Spicy does with his Souls playthroughs, you can still reiterate in many different ways that you're a "Noob" or it's your "First time". I'm not a youtuber but my guess is that the algorithm doesn't exactly like when you have the exact same title 3 times in a row
I did actually give him the oolacile scroll off cam so he's still around! I had to cut out a lot of minor things such as that and I cut that out not realizing it was a big thing to do. (I just double checked rn)

controller will always be inferior in games where camera is not fixed. you lose control of your right hand because you have to use the camera analog stick. you cannot turn camera and attack/dodge/whatever action, at the same time, with the right hand. whereas with a keyboard and mouse, you work the camera at the same time while moving the mouse and clicking. controller is only superior in games where camera work is done by the game, not you.

I actually gave him the oolacile scroll I found in farron keep before the boss, so everythings ok!

I also missed NPC questlines in my first playthrough but once I went for completion it was pain. Getting the 100+ rings was fun
I'm saving their quest for when the time is right, there's 2 in particular that I really want to do!
