Appreciate you all for watching this video, fair warning it gets pretty personal and delves into tough topics. Thanks everyone for joining me on my Dinoland journey🖤 & thank you 31K subs!!!
It's a sad day! Dinosaur was my first big ride as a kid and Dinoland USA had such a cool backstory. I had to say Goodbye on our last trip. Sorry Pal when I gifted you that Dinosaur uniform I never in my wildest dreams thought it would be for an extinct attraction. Unless something drastically changes I will not be back for a while. 💙
You are an amazing human. I know some of the feeling you shared. I got out of a toxic relationship about 21 years ago and lived on my own for the first time. I felt so light and happy. I hear you, lady. Much ❤ sent. Also much love to anyone going through anything awful right now ( and all of you in the California disasters) . This too will pass, with a little help from all of us ❤
We’ve always loved your Dinoland vlogs because of your personal history, connection, and emotions that come with them. As much as you loved those daily feelings of knowing the impact you were having on others; I know it doesn’t feel the same, but you’re 100% still doing that through your channel. It may not be said everyday or on every video, but you know you bring joy and happiness to thousands of people on a daily basis. 😊
I totally get being so sad about a place that is near and dear to your heart! I get so attached to people and places. It’s part of our lives. It’s part of our heart.
Cris you are genuine and amazing. Thank you for sharing. You inspire every day. Your videos help many when you think you don’t. You DO make a difference. I am so glad someone kind and loving like Jay is part of your life. ❤️ continue shining and keep going forward!
Hi, Chris thank you for sharing your personal moments in life. I understand that there are places and times that have a very deep connection with the personal struggles we face in life, It could be a place a song, a smell or a picture that will forever resonate and be a part of you. So I understand how the closing of Dinoland can deeply affect you. You were definitely going through a very difficult moment in your life. But thank you for being so open about your personal struggles. It really means a lot to me and I'm sure to the rest of the viewers. Thank you.
There are a lot of people who have been through these things and it helps to hear others experiences with the issues and you can learn and also feel like there is hope to remove your self from it and make your life better. I was abused mentally and physically also emotionally for 6 years and always thought this is my life and always will be but I got out of it and so happy now
Just want to say thank you Cris for being vulnerable and sharing an obviously traumatic and difficult moment in your life. I love the positive message. So happy that you are in a better place in your life now. Love from Texas. ❤
Oh sweetie, I'm sad to hear that you went thru what you did. I went thru something similar, myself. First off, know that you are a survivor, and you rose above that situation. Secondly, you've learned from it, and thankfully you have great memories from it. Dinoland was your next step, your salvation, so to speak. Hold on to those great memories. Things change, progress isn't pretty sometimes, so remember the good, and know that your past has made you, YOU, and you are a beautiful, smart young lady. You have a bright future, and you can do anything! Love, ❤ Hugs, 🤗 and God bless 🙏
TY. For letting people know that they are not alone. Stuff happens and you can always get through it if you have the vision to get through it. It might be scary at first, but taking the first step, and doing it will change your life forever.
Really appreciate that you share all these things with us Cris. In the past, you have hinted at something like this and I kind of figured out what it was and I wish you never had to go through that so it makes sense why you’re very emotional about Dino land. It’s very understandable. It was a very big part of your life. A fresh start let us say.
I think it took great courage to share your previous experiences, I'm so sorry that you ever had to go through that situation. I think by sharing this experience you are actually going to help someone, planting seeds that will help another human escape from a similar situation. I know you probably like doing hands on helping and no doubt the opportunity for that will come along one day, but you do help others, your videos always make my day better, I'm around your age and don't have access to many friends and none of them like the spooky stuff or decorating, I get to share that with you through the screen! If I ever win the lotto you better believe I'm going to DM you for a shopping trip around Halloween time lol.
Thank you Chris for being as vulnerable as you are. You're a real person and I appreciate how willing you are to share these stories with us. Trust me, what you do and say now is still very important.
I truly believe what you and Jay as well as others do with these videos is very important. These places meant a lot to you and many others, you’re helping preserve memories.
Thank you for having thr courage to share your story. As a former abuse survivor I can totally relate to attaching a place to a memory of a good time. I loved my first apt I got after i left my abuser…it burned down last year in a fire. I worried it would also burn away all my happy memories of that time of feeling free. It did the opposite. It made me realize the memories are in my heart forever just because the apt went away it couldn't take my memories…. Hugs and love.❤️
I know what you mean about places bringing back all the emotions at that time in your life. One of my jobs was also dinosaur related too and I loved it a lot. 🦖🦕
I just wanted to say thanks for sharing, you had me bawling my eyes out, I’ve been through it. And I’m so bummed about Dinoland, Primeval Whil was my favorite ride at Disney, I wish my kiddos were able to experience it, we’ve been planning a trip down to Florida but didn’t make it before Dinoland closed ):
Dinoland and DAK is special to me for 2 reasons. 1 it was the last big holiday with my parents as i teenager (we went the year it opened), a teen who was like you and struggled with school and keeping/making friends. I wish i could tell that girl not to be so afraid as it is about to get so much better. But the 2nd reason is that it is the only Disney park i got to go to with my amazing mother in law who is no longer here. She fully embraced it all, ears and meeting M&M. I know next time i go back that i will cry. I'm sorry to hear about your ex, he sounds like my biological father who I'm now estranged from. Thank you for being so open and honest and sharing what this place means to you. ❤
Sending hugs n warm feelings for you. Thank you for your info on these parks. We are trying to plan a trip to disney world n its really sad they are taking away all you cherish. I also think its so cool you worked at Disney and giving all you had to give smiles to the many. Aww so many hugs to try n help calm your heart ache.
Bless your heart. I hate to see things go away that felt like an anchor for stability. I know what it is to loose those deep felt connections. With places and mainly with people. I wish you all the best as you move forward. Life has surprises for you, Cris. I am going thru a life changing event and i have no idea what will happen. My husband after 47 years of marriage walked out on the 27th of December. I didn't see it coming at all. I'm taking each day as it comes. I have good moments and bad. Thank you for the deep talk, I needed it. Thank you for being you. Take care ❤
I lived with abuse for nine years and I feel you have to go through these things to appreciate what you have now. You need to think of it as you are helping others on your channel and reaching thousands of people and that is your new chapter.
Chris, I've never heard of Dinoland before since I've never been close to going to Disney or the US even... but the feelings you're talking about are universal and thank you for doing that. I could relate so much I'm crying my eyes out. There were so many times in life I thought there was zero things for me to live for and today I can feel just like you... that those times didn't dictate how my future was going to be, or my self worth as a person to be honest. Thanks for being here and sharing. ❤
🦕🦖Thanks Cris for sharing with us. We are, none of us, quite as alone as we think we are. However, sometimes you must survive a bit of Hell in order to reach Heaven. It makes you appreciate the summit even more, 👼🦕🦖
You're amazing and I appreciate so much you sharing and being an inspiration to keep moving forward. Definitely cried with you. I'm sorry they're closing such an important chapter of your life, but you'll always have that as a reminder of your strength and what you've overcome. Keep at it lady 🖤
I’m so glad you had this bright spot during those dark times. I’m sorry for your sake that it’s going to be gone. They can take it away but you’ll always have your memories. As much as I love Disney, I don’t love the fact that money is always their main concern. They need to bring the focus back to creating magical memories not shoving another IP down our throats.
Hi cris you tranied me in dinoland for primeval and t-spin i will miss dinoland love your videos keep up the great videos also wanted to say hi to Tampa jay
Moana would have been even a better fit with it's message of the relationship of the people with the land. I feel the same as you about Dinoland leaving. My kids spent many hours of their childhood digging up Dinosaur bones and playing in the playground there.
Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. I like the dino land. I loved tomorrow land at Disney CA. I went there when I was younger. The monorail just closed there. Tomorrow land is very different from when I went there in 1967.
Hey Cris, great video with Jay of Dinorama and Hester/Chester attractions one last time from Disney Animal Kingdom-FL..Fine sharing your personal story..Enjoy the week..
You know, not only does it take a brave woman to open up in a public community, especially on video, but when this woman does, it shows the strength you have within Cris. And I applaud you for that. 💜🖤 Thank you for explaining to us what you went through and share your personal journey on how you overcame a difficult situation in your life and how much Dinoland meant to you and how your independence was reborn. * You got a friend in me, you got a friend in me. 🎵🎶 Life does find a way.. I agree Cleanse the soul girl. Thank you 🙏
Thank you, Cris. I have never been to Dino Land, but I can understand how you feel. Your opinions and feelings matter, and I appreciate you always sharing with us. We love you and will always be interested and care about you! ❤
Good morning, Cris. I'm sorry for ya. I know what some of these things Disney is doing aren't popular with everyone. And you were working there before it hits hone a little more. It's pretty cool going back to where ya hung your hat at. Thanks. Have a great day
Morning Chris and Jay it's Monday morning just watched your video sorry to hear that Dino land is going to be no more I know just how up set you are because you used to work there and how much you loved it I also like dinosaur thanks for telling us that you in a happy place now and that you're got the love of Jay and Bella and your family and we all love you to and love watching your videos love you have a nice day 😊 ❤️ 😊😅😂❤❤❤❤
Cris, thank you for sharing your story and being so vulnerable. Hear me when I say- you’re not alone. I’m so happy that you have found a safe place and a unconditional love with Tampa Jay.🩶 I’m so incredibly sad about Dinoland going way, but especially Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. That was HANDS DOWN the best themed gift shop in all of WDW!!! I always took time to look around and even though I had done so probably over 1000 times- I ALWAYS found something new that I hadn’t noticed before! Just heart breaking that I’ll never get to do that again.😢 This was a great vlog for so many reasons- I know I will be back to watch it again. Thank you.
As I hit the 37 minute mark on your video I find myself with a genuine question for you, do you think you’d ever like to work at Disney again? It seems like you really enjoyed being apart of it, would you like to work for any of the parks again??
They had it on the local news this weekend about Dino Land I thought about you because you worked there sorry about the bad times you had around that time period it's really good you got out of that relationship that's for sure and now you have a great one with a good man!
Hey Cris this is sad that Chester and Hester's Dino Land shutting down and i saw Jay's video earlier about it is always sad when your favorite place like this closes down especially since you worked there and have fond memories of the place take care and have a wonderful week Cris, Jay and Bella.💓🦖🦕🦖🦕💓
Well actually South America and Encanto are great additions to DAK because it celebrates diversity and the different animals and vegetation in that region like Africa Asia and Lion King right now inside of DAK. Encanto is a great movie and perfect for this park. Indiana Jones not so much. I think the IJ ride will have more important theming like KJS and KRR but it is what is it will have IP instead of staying with the dinosaurs theme because they are fossils down at South America but it’s really exciting and sad that you don’t want that there. I wish they could get rid of Pandora and keep dinoland but yeah. At least is not being replaced by something horrible that does not make sense like Moana or worse like Zootopia 😒
Change can be difficult and sometimes change can be good! Just remember the folks in SoCal that literally had their lives changed in a bad way forever. Kind of puts things into perspective and makes our own problems seem so small. Great video as usual Cris! Be well!
You should’ve given the video a chance, but bye! I’m sure there is another vlogger right around the corner who talks like a carbon copy of the rest and fakes everything they say for your enjoyment!

Just remember that you have Tampa Jay who is an amazing man to spend the rest of your life with 🩷. You can definitely tell that you’re both incredibly special and very much in love. Cris I went through 17 years of being controlled. I feel the pain you went through.
My sister went through that, controlling insecure ex-husband. He wouldn’t even allow her to go to the mall with me ugh
You words really hit home with me today I'm struggling especially today and I know I'll get through it but it's rough ❤
Thanks Cris for your positive words, they are always amazing, and helpful to hear

It saddens me to here Disney is closing yet another wonderful land . I just watching your videos and you should write a book with all your stories .
Thanks for sharing your life with us. Great vlog today. I’m pretty sure they will sell the statues and all that.
Love this I don't like change to many places are disappearing

So do u now know where u are going what u r doing??? I don't😂 ❤
Hello Cris!!
Walt Disney is probably turning around in his grave. Boycott Disney's CEO
Oh my God just decided to give your channel another chance after about 6 months and the first half of this video is you whining so goodbye again
It's not an airport house cut, no need to announce your departure or arrival.
You should ask for a refund.🙄
You should’ve given the video a chance, but bye! I’m sure there is another vlogger right around the corner who talks like a carbon copy of the rest and fakes everything they say for your enjoyment!
Wow cris thank you for being so brave and opening up about your private life . Yes I suffer from depression and anxiety and struggle badly sometimes.
