Hi, is it possible for you to make a video for the difference between the resolution ? I mean ds1054 has an 8 bit adc but dho800 has a 12 bit. Thank you
Thanks for making this video! Would you recommend the DHO? I was interested by the 804 but there is also the DHO1074 which is at promotional price on rigoleu
I would clearly prefer the DHO804 to the DS1054Z, it is simply a different world, no longer comparable. Compared to the SDS1104X-E, for example, the Bodeplot is missing and the FFT has hardly any features, the 1104X-E is superior. If you don't attach great importance to either (Bode, FFT), then you should go for the DHO, because the display is clear and you notice the better resolution, the user interface is one of the best on the market. However, if you have some extra money to spend, I would buy the DHO1074 at the current discount price. I wouldn't buy it at the original price, but you can't get anything better for currently 40% less. Compared to the DHO804, the larger screen has a clear advantage, otherwise the same applies with regard to FFT and missing bodeplot.
Who really cares if it takes a few more seconds to boot up, is a few seconds one way or the other ever going to be a concern that would make you buy one model over the other ? I think not! I’m more concerned with actual performance, as in the end that’s all that really matters . My Siglent SDS1104X-E is an awesome machine for the money and does exactly what it’s supposed to do performance wise!👍👍
Please make a detailed review about Siglent SDS814x vs Rigol DHO814!
That’s why when a need a fast measurement , I’m using -a lot- a portable owon HDS272 , only a couple of seconds to full boot .
I must make an emergency measurement so my scope must boot quickly - said nobody ever.
LeCroy Wavejet Scopes...
Boot time appx 5sec, one of the fastest I´ve ever seen on DSOs.
Agree

Thank you @@metaluna72
what will be your suggetion to take dho804 or dz1054z?
Having the choice between the two, clearly and with no doubts at all the DHO804.
This is no contest, the DS1054Z is really ancient against the DHO.
Man.,.. the DHO804 is so slow booting.... I wonder if a faster MicroSD card would make a difference?
Maybe, DHO4204 didn´t boot from a SD-Card and it´s recognizeable faster.
Das Rigol DHO ist am langsamsten obwohl es das neueste ist.....
It's got a very bloated O.S. on it in the form of Android.
