I actually use the water from my pressure cooked 'smoked neckbones' It it ALWAYS banging.... Olive oiled neck bones and-just Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, smoked paprika, liquid smoke, a light dash of himalayan salt and some pepper.. ;) Once the bones are cooked, just pour that liguid in a pot and add the cabbage cook for 20 min. low heat.. ;)
I just love the simple way you prepared your cabbage. I'm so tired of hearing long drawn out reasons for this and that. Keep up the good work. I will definitely stay tuned to your channel.
I've been wanting cabbage for the longest time now but have never made any before. I made up my mind that I was going to have cabbage with my Sunday dinner so I bought a head yesterday. I'm going to try your way. It looks so easy and delicious.
Thank you for your video! I loved it! I got a whole head of cabbage from this Amish store here in West Virginia and I have confidence now to make this taste GREAT!!!!
I love any type of cabbage I’ve been cooking for so long. I’ve become lazy when it comes to chopping things. I go to a specialty grocery store and ask them to chop my cabbage. I KNOW don’t talk about me!
Great recipe! I modified to Rosa's kitchen on a Sunday. I used Turkey crumbles. 2 packets of Tropical Sazon. Water. Excellent taste and I will use this as a base from now on!
Looks good. That's what I'm about to cook now. I have my smoked turkey necks boiling now. I'm make sum hot water cornbread and fried pork chops. I have a friend that says he doesn't like cabbage so I'ma add sum brussel sprouts when the cabbage is almost done. I cut up a little jalapeno pepper in mine. Great video.

My mouth literally started to water when I saw the onions and garlic starting to cook. If it was legal in Oklahoma I'd consider taking a grilled bowl of onions, peppers, and garlic as a second wife.

I use chicken broth instead of water it gives it flavor
Amen!My new favorite broth for chicken n dumplings is beef broth.
The real cheet code is to let the turkey cook longer. Start with water, then add broth. Turkey will eventually fall apart
Me too
😋 Looks good I am gonna make this Sunday with some fried pork chops, candy yams and cornbread thanks for Sharing
I have cooked cabbage other ways, trying your recipe today the broth is yummy. I think fried fish or chicken would be perfect, and yes, cornbread 👍🏾

Was the smoked meats cooked or you pre cooked them first before using
They come precooked, usually.
Gotta try this.🎉
My mouth literally started to water when I saw the onions and garlic starting to cook. If it was legal in Oklahoma I'd consider taking a grilled bowl of onions, peppers, and garlic as a second wife.
