You get a transparent muzzleflash texture and you put it at the barrel of the gun Make sure the keyframes stick together when shooting it would make it cartoonish but atleast its the start of it Oh yeah. Don't forget to put the transparency at 80 to 90%
Dom't really recommend this hard method, this is basically work harder not smarter, like cmon you have to rearrange the arms like what? You can use group to make it even easier and there is not really alot of prisma 3d tutorials of this

I mostly put the arms inside the group itself and then animate the main bone which means you don't need to animate the arms all over again
