22:30 This is my favourite one out of all the movies for sure. I love the Sirius Black storyline and Harry finally having a family member who loves him. Plus it was the first movie which took the series in a more adult direction which really helped.
Watching this reminds me of the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando. Diagon Alley, the night bus, Hogwart's Express, Gringot Bank, Butter Beer. So many memories. You must visit the theme totally worth it.
No it’s not Gandalf. The guy who played Gandalf (Sir Ian Mekellen) was asked to play Dumbledore but he declined because he had already played one wizard. I hope before I get to the 4th movie, you had already looked it up because that stuff Buggs me
Remus Lupin could turn himself in werewolf James Potter (Harry's father) could turn himself in a deer Peter Pettigrew (Ron Weasley's pet rat) could turn himself into Wormtail (rat) These three people made a group named 'The Marauders' & The Marauder's Map shown in HP3
The Marauder's were four! The last one is Sirius Black, that can turn into a big black dog! With the names: MOONY (Remus - Werewolf) WORMTAIL (Peter - Rat) PADFOOT (Sirius - Dog) PRONGS (James - Stag) Mischief managed.
Buckbeak the Hippogriff is a combination of a Griffin and a Horse. Which according to Mythology, Horses and Griffins were mortal enemies. Yet somehow a Hippogriff was born.
Mike and Ike ... Sour Patch ... and those braids. Thinking back I really liked Richard Harris as the original Dumbledore but this movie being my favorite of the whole series really helped sell Michael Gambon as the "newcomer" to the role. By the end of it all he had really become the Albus I will always remember.
Harry has no choice but to go back to his aunt and uncles every year as his mother died to save him so as long as he can call home the place where his mothers blood dwells Voldemort can not touch him until he becomes of age , you'll see the there is a new DADA every year that is because Voldemort has cursed the job ever since Dumbledore refused the job to him. Ian mckellen played Gandalf, Michael gambon plays new Dumbledore. Ian mckellen did get offered the role but he turned it down. Harrys uncles sister had her body punctured and her memory modified so she wont know anything about what happened. Lupin and Sirius and pettigrew and Harry's dad are the maurders of the map. (They created it when they say school) so they knew how it worked. In the 6th book it is mentioned by the minister that Sirius was innocent all along so they find out eventually (not mentioned in the movie)
same ! which is why i forgot sirius and remus were completely different characters and not bad, now that im 20 and rewatched them they are my absolute faves and ,,, sigh
@@ch3rrywave You do..? Interesting. When I read the books, I see Richard Harris... or some imaginery wizard. Harris lacked that energetic spark, that's my only complaint. Wish he was ten years younger. Gambon was to erratic and grumpy for me. Dumbledor was always on top of things and chill. Mostly.
@@Fnelrbnef Michael Gambon became great in Half-Blood Prince where he showed his soft side. He was weird in the 3rd, too aggressive in the 4th and 5th was too distant and emotionaless. Honestly, I couldn't imagine Richard Harris battling Voldemort in the 5th, or the creatures in the cave in the 6th so maybe Gambon is the better Dumbledore
Dementors are J.K.Rowland's physical representation of depression. They have the power to suck the life force and the will out of a person. Feeding on their deepest darkest fears. Such a great and vicious character in the series. The author fought depression every since she was young with the death of her mother. Also when she was on welfare, with her daughter, and her life was at its lowest point.
Watching this movie again with you I realize that when Lupin saved harry from the Boggart in class. It revealed his own fear of the full moon, because he's a werewolf. I have watched this movie at least 20 times and only now that hit me. You can always grab anew nugget every time you watch these movies. J.K Rowling is just so genius in her writing.
As a movie it's the best. As a book adaptation it's not as good. The whole thing when Crookshanks supposedly ate Scabbers in the book was a real trial for Ron and Hermione's friendship, in movie is just a minor quarrel.
fun fact about harry saving himself is if you watch that scene again look at the bottom right you can slightly see a stag as the expecto patronum pules his moving outwards. i'm not sure if you get what i mean but you'll understand if you watch the scene
I love a big bowl of grapes when watching movies. Maybe chips on a special day with guests. That’s not a bad guess that sirus was turning into hermonine
Not even five freaking minutes in and he guesses the black dog is Sirius. They haven't even mentioned the red herring of the grim yet he's gotten ahead of them?! Insanity
One other random tidbit I don't think anybody has mentioned and that never makes it into the movies, is that Snape was in school with James, Sirius, Remus and Peter and they had an intense rivalry (honestly, I'd say James and Sirius were just as bad in some ways). At one point Sirius tried to play a trick on Snape and told him to go into the shack while Lupin was transforming, but James realized he could be killed and intervened (risking his own life). So that's why Snape both hates Harry, but felt obligated to save his life in the first one. There's also some other history with him and Lily that the movies go into as well (I know by now you've seen them so I don't worry about spoiling it). Snape is an interesting character in that he's ultimately on the side of good, but for mostly selfish reasons and never is really able to let go of his bitterness and resentment (in the books he's a lot worse and also says cruel things to Hermione and Neville at various points). He's definitely a lot more charismatic when Alan Rickman plays him.

Oh! And in the book the whole backstory of how Sirius escaped (and why) is because he recognized the picture of the Weasleys in the newspaper when they went to Egypt (which was briefly shown in the movie) and Scabbers was in it, and so he knew Peter Pettigrew was at Hogwarts with Ron, and therefore close to Harry. If I recall he basically just transformed into his dog form and slipped through the bars, and the dementors never realized since they don't really 'see'. He was able to escape going insane like some people do because he knew he was innocent and the dementors couldn't exactly take that knowledge away from him, as it wasn't a 'good' memory, per se.
Harry didn’t kill his aunt marge. When he meets Cornelius fudge the minister of magic he tells him that they located her and undid the spell and wiped her memory so she’s fine
The twist of Sirius being good and misunderstood was so good. Alot of twists in this movie for sure. I was super glad that Sirius wasn't a bad guy along with Lupin.
Poor muggles lost so many lives in Derry, Maine in the Stephen King's IT. All they needed was a wizard who could do the Riddikulus spell to fight off the boggart Pennywise.
Oh and another thing I forget to mention is that I really didn’t like how Ron agreed with Snape when he called her “an insufferable know-it-all.” In the book Ron actually flat out yelled at Snape right in class because he was mad at how he treated Hermione.
I think Harry Potter 3 was the first movie (& the only HP movie) which shown Causal Loop Time Paradox concept through Hermione (which was shown in Predestination 2014)
Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs who created the map, are respectivly Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrow, Sirius Black and the father of Harry potter, so a werewolf, a rat, a wolf and a deer. Sorry for my english my mothertale is french ;)
The lady that Harry made float in the air lol was uncle vernon's sister and later on you see when Harry meets Minister of magic, Corneliys Fudge, he says that nobody gets to go azkaban just because they made their aunt float .....in the book he also explains harry that ministry found her and got her back to normal and then they altered her memory so she cant remember what happened to her Lmao

One thing that always bothered me about this movie: when Pettigrew turns from rat to human he has his clothes on, but later when he transforms from human to rat the suit stays behind ...
The buttons knocking out Dudley always gets me😂
"idk if its gonna be her and harry or him and harry.. I MEAN.,." lmmaaaaoooooooo yep love Harry x Ron forever XD
There is fan fiction if you feel like looking
@@ImBigDave79 I was mainly just laughing at the fact that he said it lmao I know there’s definitely some Harry x Ron ff but I’d rather not look at that lmao
@@ImBigDave79 Yeah.... gross
I can't believe she thought Dumbledore was played by the same guy that played Gandolf 😂
No it’s not Gandalf. The guy who played Gandalf (Sir Ian Mekellen) was asked to play Dumbledore but he declined because he had already played one wizard. I hope before I get to the 4th movie, you had already looked it up because that stuff Buggs me
Remus Lupin could turn himself in werewolf
James Potter (Harry's father) could turn himself in a deer
Peter Pettigrew (Ron Weasley's pet rat) could turn himself into Wormtail (rat)
These three people made a group named 'The Marauders' & The Marauder's Map shown in HP3
The Marauder's were four! The last one is Sirius Black, that can turn into a big black dog!
With the names:
MOONY (Remus - Werewolf)
WORMTAIL (Peter - Rat)
PADFOOT (Sirius - Dog)
PRONGS (James - Stag)
Mischief managed.
Itsaprimate: I hope Hagrid doesn’t get in trouble (about Buckbeak hitting Malfoy)
Me: Oh no 🙉
There Is YTP Called "Harold Trotter and The Smelly Old Shoe Brush" Is Also On TH-cam
I watch this when i was 10-11, i was completely lost tbh, i just remembered being scary lol
same ! which is why i forgot sirius and remus were completely different characters and not bad, now that im 20 and rewatched them they are my absolute faves and ,,, sigh
I love how harry doesn’t take crap from any body in this movie
In this book you find out harrys dad becomes an animagus too. He turns into a stag. Harrys patronus takes the shape of a stag.
Too much was left out
This is Micheal Gambon playing Dumbledore, not the Gandalf-guy, Ian McKellen.
Richard Harris was better as Dumbledore.
I prefer Michael Gambon but Richard Harris was also amazing
@@ch3rrywave You do..? Interesting. When I read the books, I see Richard Harris... or some imaginery wizard. Harris lacked that energetic spark, that's my only complaint. Wish he was ten years younger. Gambon was to erratic and grumpy for me. Dumbledor was always on top of things and chill. Mostly.
@@Fnelrbnef Michael Gambon became great in Half-Blood Prince where he showed his soft side. He was weird in the 3rd, too aggressive in the 4th and 5th was too distant and emotionaless. Honestly, I couldn't imagine Richard Harris battling Voldemort in the 5th, or the creatures in the cave in the 6th so maybe Gambon is the better Dumbledore
i think its preference, i think it was nice for the later movies because michael is much more intimidating, like when he is fighting voldemort
Siruis isn't a wolf he is a dog
Watching this movie again with you I realize that when Lupin saved harry from the Boggart in class. It revealed his own fear of the full moon, because he's a werewolf.
I have watched this movie at least 20 times and only now that hit me. You can always grab anew nugget every time you watch these movies. J.K Rowling is just so genius in her writing.
Yeah I never realised that until now. Sometimes these reactors make me realise new things.
4:02 Take it away Ernie, it's going to be a bumpy ride
As a kid I loved that little head 😂😂
As a movie it's the best.
As a book adaptation it's not as good. The whole thing when Crookshanks supposedly ate Scabbers in the book was a real trial for Ron and Hermione's friendship, in movie is just a minor quarrel.
fun fact about harry saving himself is if you watch that scene again look at the bottom right you can slightly see a stag as the expecto patronum pules his moving outwards. i'm not sure if you get what i mean but you'll understand if you watch the scene
Technically Sirius isn’t a werewolf he is just a big dog. Lupin is a werewolf
The blown up aunt didn’t die, the minister said they got her, fixed her and wiped her memories
Marauder's map:
Moony = Lupin!
Wormtail = PETER PETTIGREW
Padfoot = Sirius Black! (Macbeth)
Prongs = James Potter...
Prisoner of Azkaban = Macbeth!
Insanity
I like how your theories are often spot on, but other times hilariously off haha
😅
23:15 thats not what an animagious is. with an animagious can can turn into only one animal and they cant choose what type. mcgonagall’s is a cat, mrs norris’s is a cat (yes mrs norris is a witch and filtch’s wife. read the books)., wormtail’s is a rat, and serious’s is a dog
The first Dumbledore played by Richard Harris. Was a famous English actor.
06:03 They're always so fitting
6:40 hh oh though I thought she said Pokemon
8:50 ha well
09:31 took me an extra sec but hey--ya never know
10:13 oops
10:50 hehe young me thought he just went for the neutral setting
11:20 haha maybe
13:24 hehe; 13:39 that silence
Ha remembering Marge
15:38 so someone needs to be there or she needs to have smth constantly recording her for when these pop up
15:42 in the past my sister, after watching this movie, would wake up sometimes because she'd punched the wall
when visited Barbados we slept side by side and she woke us both up once _when she punched me in the nose_
I woke up first, and she woke up because I started crying or whatever my reaction was
16:48 I just remembered the shirt grab 😂
20:15 hh wait
20:45
They didn’t do the marauders story any justice in this movie :(
dude predicted who the grim was when he just found out who serius black was
why did she smile when he said that the actor that played dumbledore died
This is definitely my favorite Harry Potter movie 😂😌
Unfortunately for me it’s one of my least favorite. This and five I still don’t like at times
Watch The Shawshank Redemption...I promise you're gonna love it
Listen to the guy.
Poor muggles lost so many lives in Derry, Maine in the Stephen King's IT. All they needed was a wizard who could do the Riddikulus spell to fight off the boggart Pennywise.
20:12"This movie had so many plot twists" *BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE*
Oh and another thing I forget to mention is that I really didn’t like how Ron agreed with Snape when he called her “an insufferable know-it-all.” In the book Ron actually flat out yelled at Snape right in class because he was mad at how he treated Hermione.
I think Harry Potter 3 was the first movie (& the only HP movie) which shown Causal Loop Time Paradox concept through Hermione (which was shown in Predestination 2014)
Gandalf, Dumbledore, Megnito 💚💚💚💚
Loving going back over all your old reactions, looking forward to new clone wars reactions :)
:)
14:25 That cut was so abrupt it was almost funny. You didn't even leave enough time to see your full reaction lol.
"Her and Harry or Him and Harry" one of the funniest slip ups I've ever heard. lol
7:19 Seeing you two dancing to the Hogwarts music is the best reaction tho, I love it😂💯👍
ian mckellen often gets mistaken for michael gambon. he told a story of how he once met michael gambon.
Ian: Do people ever confuse you for me? Because they always confuse me for you?
Michael: All the time. I'm always getting asked for autographs by lord of the rings fans.
Ian: How do you deal with that?
Michael: I just sign them in your name, it's easier to do that than go through the hassle of explaining.
I thought that was a joke, but judging by this, maybe these 2 were 2 such people that michael did that with looool
This one is one of my most favourites the next one is the best one though
Favorite movie snacks: Mike & Ike and AirHeads.
When you called that Sirius was the dog I was like wtf 😂😂
I swear you're remembering shit from the books subconsciously...
4:46 ok he’s definitely seen this movie and chamber of secrets before making this video because he “guessed” the wolf and snake assumption right off the bat.
Anemaguses can transform into any animal not just wolfs.
Lol trust me, Harry and Ron are one of the least weird "ships" people have come up with. 😂
Wow you are amazing at predicting sometimes. Nailed the answer of what was in the chamber of secrets and then nailed what Sirius Black can turn into
Her energy is unmatched 😐
it's not Gandalf... Ian McKellen pays Gandald.... Michael Gambon plays Dumbledore...
That is not Gandalf, they actually asked the old actor if it was ok to hire him if the guy died and he said No
Every time he says Voldemort, my subtitles say Baltimore
you dont find out til the 7th book harry's parents died the year I was born he was 15months when they died so the books came out RIGHT after the story would have ended the final book was set in 98 the year before i graduated so i'm actually ginny's age
also the reason these kids look noticably older each year is they are kids who age and the movies take more than a year to put out when case hermione's actress emma was 9, harry's actor daniel was 10 & ron's actor rupert was 11 the age they were playing so yeah umm puberty will be very noticeable in this series as we move on
Fun facts about this movie most people it's their favorite in the entire series and it's the only one in the entire series that in no way involves Voldemort it just involves some of his followers he's not in this movie in any shape or form he's in all the other ones at least somewhat
10:30 lmfao the spiders again 😂😂
This is my all-time favorite harry potter movie, but there are just sooo many things that doesn't make sense.
9:25 idk if it's going to be her and Harry or him and Harry *hold up wait a minute, something ain't right* 😂😂
And that smile when you hear that actor died....
Jks writing is amazing. The book blew my mind.
I just realized the physic professor whatever he name is her prophecy for for the next movie not this one....
LOL animagus are not to turn into a werewolf peter is too & he turns into a rat (very fitting cause he's a fucking rat ALSO they cut the scene about replacing ron's rat sirius sent him a tiny owl ginny named pigwidgeon)
aunt marge wasn't killed they cut it from the movies the wizard government fixed it
I would rank these movies:
#1 Half Blood Prince.
#2 Prisoner of Azkaban
#3 Deathly Hallows pt2
#4 Goblet of Fire
#5 Deathly Hallows pt1
#6
#7 Chamber of Secrets
#8 Sorcerer Stone
Yazzzzzzzzzzzz
Maybe for me the goblet of fire the 2 one I respect your opinion
her & harry or him & harry...
oh sweet summer child if you only knew how this fandom went there are MANY people who try to make harry gay and hook hermione up with basically anyone but who she ends up with
Hermione literally is with in fandom world with every boy in hogwarts ..
Animagus’ can choose to turn into an animal, Werewolves have no choice to transform
lmao 9:20 my boy hahahah that was funny asf
