i have a theory about Dimentio's relationship with Count Bleck. Dimentio helped Bleck find the Dark Prognosticus and told him how to use it. He must have known then that Bleck would never create a new world-that the count didn't care about anything except Timpani. So he decided to find the hero of the Light Prognosticus and help them defeat Bleck. But before the four heroes entered the final castle, Dimentio asked Bleck if he remembered his old name. This agitated Bleck to the point that after his defeat by the heroes, he begged them to kill him and stop the Chaos Heart. Dimentio planned to use this as an opportunity to eliminate his former boss and seize control of the Heart. If you think about it, it makes sense. Dimentio is the "master of puppetry" who used manipulation to create obstacles for Mario and co.
Nidhin Ninan It’s subtly hinted at certain points during the game that Dimentio may very well be the Dark Prognosticus’ (Profeticus Tenebrae) creator. Timpani/Tippi also states that she remembers him - although she does not elaborate further - the first time you meet him; and due to the fact each time you face Dimentio again afterwards you don’t have her at your side, there is no opportunity to get further insight into this.
So sad that this was (in my opinion) the last time that Nintendo went dark. With Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story and, Super Paper Mario, Nintendo struck some golden storylines. But then Sticker Star just had to ruin it. (Dream Team was okay I guess)
The Kirby Games are to full of dark stories, but why not more of them in Paper Mario? The last 2 Paper Mario was Bad, the last Mario and Luigi was Bad, why Nintendo? Dream Team Bros is my Favourite of the Mario and Luigi Series, sadly played never the good Paper Mario, but i have see a Lot of it
