hey man, your posture is completely wrong, if you see at 1:12 your knees are in an advanced position like your feet, in front of the frame. This is very dangerous as the bike is unbalanced and lacks rear traction, causing the bike to swerve. I would advise you not to post these videos..
Hey buddy, long time rider first time viewer. Riding with friends and there’s sons and sons friends and I hope that this is going to be the perfect tutelage for us to ride local tracks. My best advice has always been when going over a jump on a bike, especially a two-stroke where you don’t know where the stroke is going to kick in. Always pull the clutch. This is a better explanation of what to do after that thanks. Let’s see how our next ride goes.
Great question! You will get a slight brake tap, but since you are just stopping the wheel and not all to gears inside the motor it won't be as effective as a rear brake tap. I would not suggest using a front brake tap because there is no way to get the wheel spinning again after pulling the brake, and when the tire touches back on the ground without the spinning motion it will cause an abrupt landing and not be very smooth! Hope this helps!
Any tips how to efficient move your feet to use rear brake or gear shifting and keep squeezing a bike for better control? You keep your feet on the balls, then move forward to brake and move back to the balls on the landing to avoid accidental braking on impact, right?

@@RadAdventureDude pretty good and been having a ton of fun. I made a decent dirt ramp that I haven't jumped yet cause I'm still making the landing ramp and I'm making a big berm in the corner of our property.
I’ve been jumping for about 3 months now, still feels like everything is happening so damn fast, I don’t even feel like I’d have enough time to pull the clutch in and tap the brake then get back on the gas before landing. Even the larger jumps (for me) 50-70 footers still feels like it happens in an instant
Ooh great question! I like to when possible especially when shifting up, however it’s not 100% necessary. Just make sure to use you clutch if you do a brake tap or else the dirt bike stall out!
Once you tap the brake, you can release the clutch only if you have already let the rear brake off. I still like to blip the throttle slightly as I am releasing the clutch just to get the rpm’s back up! Only get back on the throttle if you have the front wheel where you want it. If it’s still too high, the throttle will pick the front wheel up higher! Hope this helps!
Are you getting cross rutted, or coming off the jump not in a straight line, with continuous throttle in the middle of the gear range? Also any type of kicker, hole, or rut will kick the bike sideways off the takeoff of a jump! This will be something you must always anticipate when hitting a jump!

The world of dirt bike riding is limitless, and will most definitely add some excitement to your life! The best part about riding dirt bikes, is after over 20 years on a bike I still improve every time I go riding! I enjoy watching new riders progress, and move past barriers in their riding they never thought possible!
Both those bikes would be great dirt bike to learn on! The 150 may be a little easier when learning, but both are excellent bikes for a new rider to grow into! What size dirt bike have you been riding?
My first time on a bike (CR125) back in 2006.. I wasn't even trying to jump just riding on a "flat" field, must of hit a ditch or something I don't know but the back end came up as if I was doing a front flip...KOd myself, friend said I had throttle wide open and didn't let go and it was just taking me for at least 4-5 front flips like a fucking rag doll.. never been on once since

nice job.................best description/explanation I've seen
Great video!
When you pull in clutch, let off gas , tap the rear brake for brake tapping, at what point do you get back on the gas ?
It depends on how much the front wheel got thrown down. However always before you land on the ground!
@@RadAdventureDude Thank you!

This was very informative 👏 best jump tips I've heard on TH-cam. Liked and subscribed

What about shifting down after jump into corner with a 2 stroke? They don’t have the best engine breaking
What about running a 2stroke no engine brake and you are dealing with power band.
Great tips, thank you and what an awesome view!

After you pull in the clutch and tap the brake can you then let out the clutch or will it stall?
