So, Im a self admitted boutique bass snob. But I spoke with Anthony about one of these (mine is Metallic Green). And he said “Dude, come play this!” So I did. And it is the only bass i have played for three weeks. For an off the shelf bass, it’s ridiculous. And Anthony and the crew there were awesome. Worth every penny. Get this bass before anyone else does.
These basses are killer. Are there any differences with the new ones over last year’s model? My metallic blue didn’t have any of the shielding issues others have experienced. I think those were an anomaly and not the norm.
The great Charvel bass mystery.. I really wish these basses were more consistent. We had some really quiet one and some really noisy ones. Thanks for watching - Anthony
It sounded good on pasive mode 👍👍. The pickups are Dimarzio, right? Regarding an instrument (any) being versatile. I think finding a specific tool It´s something great. If it´s a good rock bass, thats a plus for me
Beware there are some coming out faulty. Loud, horrible buzz from shielding issues that only goes away when you touch the strings or knobs. The QC ain't great. Otherwise. Great basses.
I like in Italy but I trust you more than some reviewers. I know you guys setup your instruments, but is this one silent from the factory or did you do anything to it?
I got a chance to handle one of these but not plug in and play. It was super comfortable and the neck was sweet. Did they address the noise issue that some were having with the preamp engaged?
I think it depends more on your situation. I get some static if I point it at my computer screen but it goes away and goes dead silent when I turn to the side.

I have 2 of these one green and one black and they are dead quiet and play flawlessly.

I want one of these but hear of all these buzzing/shielding issues. If I buy one and it does that how much is it going to cost me to fix?
Does this bass have an improved active circuit compared to the limegreen one?
