Lord Commissar Bern would probably be nerding out too over the sight of the Baneblade, if not for his duty to watch over the senior officer and NCO before him.

@@aleksander5279 I think we can safely disregard Dawn of War III as "canon". That thing is a blasphemy to the Emperor's name, not worthy to be recognized as a true sequel.

Funny how the space marines ultimate unit is a glorified transport, while the IG ultimate unit is a tank that has as much dakka as possible. And in this mission you have to compare them.
I just love this expansion. Its just as easy to pretend your Imperial guards are renegades, or that your SPace marines are turning to chaos, but to actually see and hear them fight in a story, praising the dark powers brings me joy.
The powers of the dark gods mean nothing as long as you have the bigger tank, or thing with weapons (not that any of these games will ever let you use a titan).
Not entirely. Just having a disproportionate amount of them and being led by one. That said, yeah Tzeentch or just Undivided makes a lot more sense for the BR; although it strictly would have been Nurgle that Kyras first fell to.
Tell someone who cares, the chaos worshippers need to be reminded of how overrated their powers are and few things do that better than using guns to slaughter any of their gods creations. If anybody feels like arguing with me, I say, a Chaos Lord, who is already superhuman with power armor, will often lose to a broodlord without any extra wargear, and a daemon prince will generally get beaten by a hive tyrant. Gameplay wise, chaos powers are pretty overrated in this setting.
in the spanish version the marine say something like this to the guardsmen What happen young men, so i thing we can make the guardsmen or the space marine become loyalist again
I love how Castor and Merrick were essentially drooling over a sight of a Baneblade while Adrastria is rolling her eyes.
"Men and their toys" ;)

Unfortunately the canon victors for Soulstorm are the Orks, but Guard would have been so much better.

2:00 "...Die!" --- only for me it sounds really weird and remind of Boreahl?
That fucking battle cry from the space marine! i think is one of the most intense battle cry ever
Imperial Guard should always Remember to never leave their standard issue balls of steel at home when they leave for glorious battle
I hate when someone says “enemies.” The proper term is “practice targets for the Baneblade.”
That is the Baneblade. If those 11 guns don't sell it, well, lets let them speak for themselves.
It takes a Chaos marine to teach the noob Marines turned Chaos.

There's always time for a baneblade

Is it wrong that I replayed that one line about 50 times?
Land Raider: I'm gonna be the boss of this level!
Baneblade: Nah, I'M the boss of this level.
Sarge and General: Oohlala, it touched our tralala
Inquisitor: "rolls her eyes"
Now we can See how a Space Marine turned to Chaos!
