    I played 99 Glooms and Attraqtia for the show, my friend didn't capture the judge talking moment, but they commented that it was flawless for some reason, like I kept getting shitmisses and all. One judge said that he was shit at beat saber so he complimented my gameplay lol.

    I would do this but I don't have the balls to play rhythm games on stage lmao. It's also really funny how non-rhythm gamers look at this and applaud and think it's amazing even tho we miss so many notes and perform like shit.

      You said that meaning you wanted to be rude with every intention of being rude for the sake of it.
      This is a performance for a talent show, it's a one run situation and you're done, it's not like you sit there and spam retries so that you get an upscore, you're showcasing what this game is in front of a crowd, eyes all looking at you, and you criticise on my gameplay when that's the one thing nobody cares about.
      Just an fyi: my ptt is 12.28.
      So if you have the audacity to get on a stage and PM testify, then be my guest, I hope my terrible performance inspires you. ❤

      @ansonpoon4814 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@zel9185 (I’m sorry for typing too much I just finished writing my term essay, just skip my first paragraph if you don’t wanna read)
      No, I genuinely did not intend to be rude, I’m saying that cause if you compare to the other “talent show arcaea video” that dude actually was like a top player, the play you did was not 12 ptt, if you’re 12.28 ptt, then imo you should have better song choices to get a higher stable score on, I’ll give you that you’d feel a shit ton of stress but if you say you’re calm playing then idk, probably calm at heart but not calm on hands/brain, you posted a video with arcaea, as a TH-cam audience ofc I’m gonna look at your gameplay, what do you want another oh great talent ❤️ comment? Did you choose those charts cause they looked cool or sth? Or you don’t have the crutch charts? Cause I’m pretty sure ex+ on a easy 10/10+ is not hard for you to be honest. If you’re normally inconsistent on scores then I’m sorry, but choosing two songs that you can consistently ex+ seems more satisfying for me.
      Fyi, my highest ptt is only 12.1 sth, but if I’m playing and I’m supposedly “calm” and not shaking my hands, I can guarantee ex+ on cyaegha and singu, if I’m insecure then I’d choose sheriruth or ikazuchi or sth. 983 is mad bro. It’s like joining a sing con and choosing the new song you just learnt because you liked it too much.
      I don’t wanna make you feel bad but if that was me I’d feel a bit sad because the play was far from the potential you can do.
      IMPORTANT: the scores are nowhere close to mattering since the audience cheered and that’s what mattered, but if that’s how the performers of different shows were (like singing/dancing), it’d be a shitshow, if you treated this as a one in a lifetime show, then you’d care about the gameplay.

    • @ansonpoon4814
      @ansonpoon4814 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@zel9185 basically, I wouldn’t play GL or FR even if I can get ex on them, cause getting ex is still either shitmissing a lot like you said, or just not understanding the charts fully. EX+, preferably FR, but EX+ is more than enough

    • @zel9185
      @zel9185  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@ansonpoon4814 I respect your reply, but I still stand by my points.
      the purpose of me uploading the video is to share my experience performing at a talent show, and to encourage people who plays this game that Arcaea is a talent worth showcasing. If you compare me to other talent show videos, then no shit, they're miles better than what I can do, I'm not some top player who barely shitmisses 1 note on the entire chart of Aegleseeker. I'm just having fun playing and contributing for the show.
      Me and my friends had a long discussion in picking what songs I wanted to play, many aspects are involved: is it overused, is it visually appealing, what elements and playstyle would fit for others to look at, how agile do I have to move my hand, how fast it should be. And I narrowed it down to glooms and attraq, yet also at the same time, I do have to be consistent to play it as well. I'm not a consistent player, I fail basic cross patterns, so I choose what I am most comfortable at.
      I think that your standards are a bit too high, for the effect of being one arcaea player, since we see it all, we know what's easy and what's hard, but they don't, and I wanna show them the fun in playing rhythm game, the ability to do stuff like that, of course it's not my best plays, but I myself am proud to pull that off for everyone to see, I keep the top scores to myself, and again, my sole purpose was to sell the game, like really any other talent show videos has been doing so far if you think about it.
      You gotta realise here, with talent shows come singing, dancing, playing the instruments and all of that, playing games like this is likely uncommon, if not extremely rare. I wouldn't call it a shitshow either, considering that the judges even asked me for a validation if I'm legit afterwards, cuz they complimented on my gameplay as "perfect" when you as an arcaea player can clearly see what went wrong. Again, real talent was on display, they're doing their best of their capabilities, because they're competing against each other for they share similarities, and they wanted to prove that they're better. I'm just here playing to show them the game and contributing to the show.
      One more thing, I really, really don't want to be rude, but please learn to communicate.
      Your use of the whole "no offense" type of sentence just put you on a shallow idea of saying, I suck, with a long bruhhhhhhh as a cherry on top. Ofc I'd be taking it that way, what else do you expect when you apparently shit on another people with nothing else to follow but a satire wording as a disrespect comma.
      I'm playng Phigros for next year, and idgaf about your standards of what makes a good performance.

    • @ansonpoon4814
      @ansonpoon4814 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@zel9185 I apologise for my first comment, saying it wasn’t 12 ptt wasn’t really my main point I wanted to convey, what I really did want to say was it wasn’t good accuracy, if you spent time choosing the song and decided that looked better for the audience then good for you, but it’s very different now that you’re telling me you’re playing phigros next year, cause for me, they don’t just make talent shows like this out of nowhere or do it annually, hell I’ve never heard of one here. If it’s much more casual then yeah play some random tech map you can get EX on then it’s actually fun and good to look at. My “bruhhhhh” was actually me trying not to sound rude, it felt better than using 😭 or saying nothing at the end, a long bruh for me is a chill word. Saying nothing at the end looked condescending af.
      Bringing more people to the community is great but it being uncommon doesn’t mean the standards are not the same, it’s up to you to set the standards, it’s just that other can hear or see you fuck up on singing/dancing etc, but they don’t understand you fucking up here, imagine playing project diva and having the “miss=miku don’t sing” option on, that’s basically this, but again, this is done yearly, not a one in a lifetime thing, then standards are not needed to be strict.
