I am not a big fan of flat rivets do to the uncontrollable nature of pressure so you get weird indents vs tightening down with full control. Also the beauty hardware just makes for a more professional install.
it looked good before you put the blue rivets on...would look better with the normal silver ones. btw i hope you are putting a wider tire in the back ! i could fit my entire arm in the gap
Adding to* the car is the a reflection of the driver of every car looked stock it would be pretty boring as long as the owner is happy that’s all that matters

zack saroeuy I know where it is from, it’s musk customs but I can never find the complete kit anywhere, only bits like the 2 front fenders or the two rear arches. I can never find the pieces that blend them in with the bumpers, those triangular things that bolt on to the bumpers. I know street fighter la but with the price of their kit you can probably buy 3 kits of musk customs and for drifting that’s very importante 😂😂
I litterally was watching this only cause i could not belive that a perfectly good M3 is being cut to shit then drilled everywhere just to add some hideous plastic arches and horrible blue bolts on top, this would be even bad with some shitty 20i-25i coupe but this is slaughter man... i know everyone to his own taste and this might have been rude but damn son... you could at least cut the quarters in a manner someone can use it for an m3 clone and use some regular fenders in front and cut the vent hole... at least some bits would have survived this.
@@jamesthebond0072 but it can't be returned to stock. Lots of reasons that this could be an issue. I guess the main one would be a road worthy check or an annual MOT A mechanic may need to be able to return the car to stock for it to pass this things. Also resale is now totally screwed. I love the idea if getting a wide body kit for an E46 M3 but I wish I was reversable
Yeah it’s not to everyone’s taste, but I’m just here to provide a service for the customer. You should see how it turned out. He actually went back and shaved all the holes and painted the whole vehicle. It’s looking pretty sharp. Maybe I’ll do a update video for this car.

musk is by far one of the best kits for the e46\36 but i do have a question. I do understand hardware but what's so bad about flat rivets?

It could be done, but would require a ton of fabrication and fiberglass work.

whats the under coat you used ?
I typically just use 3m rubberized under coating and use 3m 2 part epoxy bare metal seam sealer.
Where did you get the kit from?
I can never find the whole kit only fenders not the bumper blend ins.

I thought the same thing, but as of now hes gone and molded the entire kit so its all seamless looking and fully painted.
