It seems over saturated and some of the youtubers are saying that it's not a lot of work like it used to be. Before I jump into this, is it really worth it? I'm a trucker and i want to get out of trucking, but i don't want to invest money and time into something that is not as lucrative.

With your experience I would say yet but be sure to bring your water wings AKA Xactimate training and lot of licenses.
