Wow! Very VERY nice! I bet those are hard to come by... And a long lead time too? Oh I saw you speak at the Luthier's Interactive of North Texas earlier this year (my one and only time to come to the meeting...so far). It was very interesting.
Thanks Roger! Our lead time is reasonable right now. And, this guitar is available currently. Next LINT meeting is next Saturday at our shop in Nacogdoches. You’re welcome to come down to see some more interesting tips, wood and good food. 😃
Hi Steve and Ryan, this guitar looks and sounds phenomenal! As you know I am particularly fond of your deep bodied OM model. The quilted Sapele looks incredible! I am looking forward to seeing you two at BIG and getting a chance to see and hear this guitar in person. Jim
Sounds beautiful as usual. ✨✨Stephen I'm building a Jumbo Sapele with Adirondack and a strip of Sitka in the middle top. I had the mould built and realized the top wasn't big enough lol. It's going to be a 13 fret neck. Any predictions on what will be the sound will be ? Maple and birch neck with a Marble Wood fret board.
Should sound good. We have a Adi/Sapele Dread video that you could check out. Should be clear and have a lot of fundamental. No reason why your combination shouldn’t excel sonically.
@@stephenkinnairdguitars I'll check out your channel . Thanks Oh I forgot it's a 19 fret 24.75" scale with a 19 inch body probably going to be 5 inch deep or close to it.
Thanks, not a bad price for the sound and quality of your fine work. But My budget is a little tight right now. But you definitely got my attention, I'll certainly keep you in my mind of builders
Thanks Jeff. This one is available for $9400. Our custom builds start at $7500. Please write us at stephenkinnaird@gmail.com or visit our website stephenkinnaird.com if you’re interested.
@bikerfry thanks for writing! It just sold earlier in the day yesterday. We do have a very similar set of wood in our shop if you are ever interested in having one built. 😃

@@stephenkinnairdguitars Hi Stephen. Thanks for that info! I’ll have to give that some thought. Sounds like fun.
Sweet, refined, and loveable sounds!
Thanks so much! We’re glad you liked it.
Stunning guitar! That Sapele wants to growl a bit like Rosewood. Impeccable craftmanship Steve.
Thanks Ron! Appreciate the compliments.

@newffee it does seem like an awfully short scale on a 13 fret big body. Are you going for a certain feel?
@@stephenkinnairdguitars I was hoping for a lower bass feel. Should the scale be longer?
@newffee typically longer scales provide more oomph on bigger bodies. The air volume should supply all the bass you need.

@@stephenkinnairdguitars uh oh
Yep. Just double checked. I have the sister set to this guitar. 👀😁
Beautiful looking and sounding guitar. What's the string spacing at bridge and nut if you don't mind?
Thanks so much. The nut width is 1 3/4” with a 2 1/4” saddle spacing.
@@stephenkinnairdguitars thank you
Cool, did you give her a good family discount?😅
You know it! 😆
