First time i'm listening to Stonebwoy. He has a clear reasoning. The last time i hear of him, he's receiving awards and it seems he's one of the only people that understands Ghana / Naija music scene. He just mentioned simple fact that people refused to understand. But i don't believe the 80-20 formula. If you make great music it will cross over world wide. it just happened that raggea / ragga is not doing well in Nigeria because of the force Nigerian pop scene has gained. Yes and that is because of 80% Nigerian music AirPlay and 20% foreign music AirPlay laws that Nigeria put in place some years ago. I have never heard a Ghanaian song played at a Nigerian party.

If you wanna know if Ghana music is being played in Nigeria,just take a trip to the South East - Aba,Owerri,Onitsha,Awka n Enugu Towns and,you will hear Ghana songs making people crazy.Even the ones which Radio stations in Ghana dont promote.Good music sells itself.Brother Brother by Bisa Kdei is old but is still in every Djs playlist and on repeat.Aba and Onitsha till date still can't be in a party without old school jams from City Boys,Canadoes,Okukuseku and the rest of them.You guys should quit this quota stuffs and get to work.Work harder,invest money and nothing can stop you.Ghana is filled with lots of talents and super producers but are not well promoted because of hatred, envy and unnecessary beefs.

I can recall Nigerians doing crazy dance moves to "One Conner" Including artists, little kids and married women.. So Ghanaian Artists should stop playing blemish game and start promoting their songs. Wizkid, Davido, P.square, Dbanj and a lot more never had any problems performing to any type of audience both in Nigeria, Ghana and even outside Africa. Music these days is all about business not just studio work anymore. Get a good team and sale your brand to the world. That's what Nigerian Artists are doing.
