I’ve shot Hoyt forever, gave up on them and went to PSE, still like them; picked up on Bow Tech and that’s all I want to shoot now! Actually shooting the Reckoning 35 and it’s fantastic! The accuracy and incredible quality and being able to tune the cams blows everyone else away! You can make these bows shoot just about any arrow you choose! I’m gonna keep the 35 for comp and buy a Solution for hunting!
I really appreciated your review of the Solution SS, thank you. I have purchased one and have liked it as much as you do - especially the Super Smooth part in light of the fact that I am 76 and smooth means I can shoot longer with less fatigue. At the moment the bow is set to 53# draw weight with 28.5" draw length. I also have another bow I would very much like to see you review - Prime Nexus 6. So I am putting in my vote for a review on the Prime as a target bow, especially since you seem to use 36" bows for target competition. Thanks very much.
The deadlock cams on Bowtech is fantastic way to adjust the cams left and right for paper or bareshaft/broadhead tube, no press required. I like the Bowtech bows. Wouldn’t say I love them but they’re great. Not the same as the old Bowtech. Smooth drawing, very easy to let down. One of the nicer bows to let down and draw.
One of my staff use this bow and he has not switched it yet because he loves the feel of it. But yes it would be interesting to compare how it shoots and feels.
Have to comment. Keep up the good work. Your videos are the best unbiased around. I myself have a bowtech solution, not the ss. Tried the comfort mode and did like the deep valley. But I do shoot it on performance side now. The draw cycle? Once you draw it back a few times you get use to it. It isn't as bad as you would think. It's still smooth to me. But the valley is slightly shorter, which I like. I shoot the goldtip airstrike 400 spine. With a 100 grain tip. Draw length is 29.5 inch. Bow is turned down to about 62 lbs shooting thought the chronograph I have a speed of 317fps, arrow weight is in the light setup at 345 grains. I literally have no hand shock and with the help of stabilizers keeps me steady from the shorter brace height.
I've been telling ya for years bud, Bowtech all the way well and PSE I like their bows too but I'm still having a hard time finding a bow that I can shoot more accurate then my BTX-31
Paige's bow is an Bowtech although she used to shoot the old Supra Focus. I've asked her to come back to PSE but she loves her Bowtech. Still think an lapel Bluetooth mic would help out your reviews. 🏹🤠👍
And how would her returning to PSE be beneficial to you? Do you work for PSE or is it that you would derive some degree of satisfaction knowing that she uses the same bow as you do?
Yes I do have one but it is a new camera with new audio input. Not happy with the new Microphone. It is alot more expensive camera and Microphone. I purchased the adaptor today to try the lapel after I saw your comment. I have been trying to get the sound better. The new camera has alot more function so it should be better. Just disappointed. I phoned the stored could not get through, phoned Cannon and they charge you for talking to them. I watched every video before the purchase. Quiet disappointed for the $5,000 purchase.
@@ArcherySuppliesLonsdale I did not mean to sound critical Stephen, I always love your reviews. Wish I lived in Australia so I could donate one days work to your shop. Keep shooting straight and thank you. 🏹🤠👍

Don't you think this "Solution SS " is a monstrous name for a bow? Don't marketers have some knowledge of 20th century history? Very good bow and excellent presentation in any case!
I live in Australia I’m looking for a mid tier bow, something so I can the buy around 1000 or more then buy real decent attatchemts to get stuck into hunting I might have enough to buy something like this but I’m just wondering what the middle range price and choices is, I currently have a bear salute which I found out is like a Walmart bow 🙄
I'm looking at getting a Bowtech Amplify as my first bow as I wanted something I could adjust if my kids (5,6,9) wanted to try archery and that seems to be the most versatile from what I have seen. Would you recommend this bow and what sort of time frame for delivery would I be looking at?
If you have the time could you please do a review of the Amplify there aren't many reviews I've found. I'm looking to buy my bow first bow to grow with as my archery progresses.
Yes it is and new Microphone. One of them stopped working so had to work out how to get this new one to work. The reviews I watched before buying did not address any of the issues. In fact I watched every video made on the camera. Dont know if Im happy with the new one and I dont think the sound is as good. A lot more expensive.
@@ArcherySuppliesLonsdale More expensives cameras often require more stuffing about to get it to look good. The sound being bad is strange if you're using an external mic. Are you using the built-in sound of the camera?
I have not tried the Axius. This is a very different draw with the big slow decline in the valley. Hoyt tends to be a more traditional draw with a short valley.
Bowtechs tuning tech is the best in the business but the reason why they are so easy to draw is they have no horsepower or speed to them. I own a RevoltX and Solution and I much prefer my Hoyt RX4 Alpha. Faster, built way better, hardier. Bowtech s are a good bow for someone young or older person who needs an easy draw. They are not a serious hunting bow, they are not that fast, not that durable and have lots of design flaws. Saying all that they due have the best tuning tech by far!
@@richandkidarcheryandoutdoo4372 I’ve never seen a review and there are plenty where he RevoltX hits the IBO. My RevoltX at my draw 26 inch draw and in performance, 70lbs, 440 grain arrow 252 FPS, My Hoyt RX-4 Alpha, 26 inch draw, 440 grain arrow, 80 pound draw weight 287 FPS 35 FPS difference! That’s a big difference.
How about using a draw board or bow press to show the draw cycle poundage RESISTANCE as the bow is being drawn. No one on TH-cam does this. This would show how hard r easy a bow is to draw which is probably the single most relevant thing people consider when shooting a new bow. As we all know some bows ( which ones?) are like pulling an anchor out of the mud and others are easy and butter smooth.
Best bow reviews on youtube IMO. Thanks for taking the time to make these!
Best bow reviews on the web.
As a life long bow hunter in the USA I have seen bows change a lot. Never thought I would see stuff like they make today. Keep up the great reviews

It’s a great bow. Ordered mine a couple weeks ago. I live 10 minutes from the factory so I will just pick it up when it’s ready.

The revolt was so good last year, I can believe this is smoother.
A comparison between the Solution and the Solution SS would be golden...
Great review. Can you shoot it on performance mode? Love to see the difference.

Now, at 4lbs, and a good valley, I would love to have one of these. Wished a had the money. I could use one of these for hunting and target.
Thanks for the great review! Can you tell me how much speed to expect changing the cam over to "aggressive" settings?

We have the bow in stock. For a kid I would suggest a kids compound so it is light. The Amplify I would suggest for a young adult.

Shoot them side by side. Only way to decide!
WHY does it seem like ALL bow reviewers DON'T TAKE OFF THE FREAKING TAGS. Sounds like cards on a bicycle wheel!
Imagine a world where the Bowtech SS were 34-inched ATA. If it were it would be my 3D bow. Come on. make the same technology in a longer ATA.
