If you walk away, it's a good landing. If the airplane is reusable, it's a GREAT landing!
Perfect landing.
correction!! i notice by looking a the flags they came in on a head wind so you would have to make a bit of a steeper decent. Now for the landing,he seemed level so i could of been caused by a gust of wind change.
How you keep your camera so steady
any wind?
I had a landing in a storm in Nashville, go check it out, it appears that we are gonna go around but we don't!
This looks like Southwest was trying to make up time because they were behind schedule, hence the steep descent. I saw the hard touchdown not only of the back wheels but also the front. This is the type of landing I'd expect from a rookie who doesn't start the decline far enough out and has to compensate, but I was on a SW flight one time where the takeoff, the flight, and the landing was completely flawless....and they announced after touchdown that it was the "female rookie's" first flight as the head pilot! I was shocked and very very proud! She did an awesome job.
do you remember what seat that was?
Yes, 14 or 15F
where is the hard landing?
What is that big hole in the ground at 2:46?
Looks like a mine or something
Looks like a quarry to me bruh
Oh.
It's only a hard landing when the landing gear collapse
For some reason, SWA pilots bring down their 737's hard and fast.
Not a Hard Landing.. not even close to hard...
Not a soft landing but only a 1 or 2 on a 1 - 10 hardness scale. For anyone who has never experienced anything worse, it’s understandable why they might consider this a hard landing.
Soooooooo....your electronic devices were on, eh? I bet your tray table wasn't in it's full upright position either!!!!! Shame!
Didn't appear to be at all hard!! First flight on an airliner??
I never said it was bone shattering. I merely implied that it was a little rougher than most. Also, please don't make ignorant assumptions when it takes merely a glance at my channel to prove your second statement wrong.
+Dwight Roberts It was rather hard, but typical for a 737.
Thats called positive landing. not hard landing. sometimes you HAVE to make a positive landing for safety reasons..
737s always have hard landings. Every single 737 I’ve been in has had a very hard landing
HA! fucking just slammed. as being a pilot in training and landing is one of the most in consistent things for a pilot. that one was probably cause by the flights 40 and a lower speed than actually he was intended was to come in at, and he flared a little to late
+fsxdeluxe1 the 737 often lands hard.
Being that you're simply a "pilot in training" and that your name consists of "fsx" I guess it's safe to assume that you're only a flight sim pilot who occasionally gets to fly in a 152 with an instructor. Being that I'm more qualified to talk about what consists of a "hard landing" I can assure you this was NOT at ALL a hard landing. Don't talk about things you're not qualified to talk about. Thanks.
Cameron Grisko sadly you don't know my background, and who I am :), and just to let you know I made this account when I was 10. 10 years ago
fsxdeluxe1 good for you. I know that you're not an airline pilot. No airline pilot would consider that a hard landing. I highly doubt you're doing anything impressive that would even remotely qualify you to talk about the landing habits of a 737
Cameron Grisko surprisingly I'm not going to argue back with you considering we are on TH-cam and not Facebook or Twitter. good day sir :)
That wasn’t even hard it was a normal touchdown a true hard landing is from Ryanair sheesh
Wasn't that hard
Unfortunately, the 737 is one of my least favorite aircrafts.
Professional passengers are annoying.
As passengers, we don't know what is going on in the cockpit. There could be a wind that pushes the plane down or a downdraft. Or, maybe it is a shorter runway. Pilots do not choose to land rough, because they feel it too
+CrispyChip or maybe they are human and they don't always make the perfect landing which is especially common on the 737.
that is also a case
That's Not a hard landing.... A hard landing is when half the face masks drop out of the ceiling. Been there......
