Once again, Megan did a stunning job and I really love this one, because it is kinda mind-blowing.
About this young lady, I wish the best of luck for her life and future and it is very sad to see, that at this age she already has to deal with this kind of stuff. I mean, c'mon she has her whole life ahead of her.

Marwan Zee we do judge people by appearance but only to some extent. Appearance is what we pay attention to first when we first met someone. It's just human nature. We see what we can see first. We can never see their mind, which is hidden or partial shown by them.
I don't see how appearance compliment is a bad thing.

i resonate with sleeping beauty because of adrenal fatigue. it seems very interesting that with all these comments of people feeling similar with diagnosed illnesses no one could figure out what happened to her

People with narcolepsy do not wake up refreshed, at least nobody I've heard of, I mean the statement irritated me a lot in general. I had a friend who's dad has this disease and he "fell asleep" which in turn is him actually having a seizure, and he almost died and almost caused a deadly wreck on the highway. Not to mention I have epilepsy, and even though I don't fall asleep like narcoleptics, after my grandmals I feel horrible. Correct me if anyone has ever actually felt this way, but it's not like the person took a great long nap on the couch or something, the condition is embarrassing. Not trying to sound triggered or offended but I have headaches a lot still from being an epileptic, can't imagine being a narcoleptic.
. . . joint pain & fatigue sounds a lot like Lyme disease. I personally have chronic Lyme disease, n went to my regular primary care doctor who gave me the Elisa blood test which came out negative for Lyme (it is NOT accurate at all!!). I was told my two physicians there was NO way I had Lyme disease. I finally went to a chronic disease specialist, had my blood tested at Igenex out in CA, where they confirmed I indeed had Lyme. My heart goes out to this poor girl. She should definitely get a Western blot blood test!! Our healthcare system is the worst!
That's what I was thinking. I have Lyme as well and was misdiagnosed so many times until I found out. I'm always fatigued no matter what and have joint pain and stiffness. I feel for her and for you hun.

I read the chances of Elisa tests being positive for Lyme are extremely low and that most people with the disease won't test positive on Elisa. Good that you got another diagnosis
I have Lyme too and as I was watching this I thought she might have that also! I've had Lyme for 8 years but was only diagnosed after 7. It's definitely hard to diagnose and treat! Wishing the best for the young lady in the video and for you in your treatment.

Now I'm afraid that I have that condition. I'll go to sleep at night and 9/10 times I wake up feeling more tired than I felt before I went to bed. Idk

Chloe Allen Actually, people with Narcolepsy do. The body will not allow them to wake up naturally until it actually is "ready". That's the problem with Narcolepsy, because a slight change in the behaviour of the body, like an increase in hormones like adrenaline or stress hormone will knock you asleep and will not let you wake up until levels are back to normal. If you don't know this, then you're not thinking of Narcolepsy, it will be a different condition. People who are woken up prematurely however face being fatigue, but that's to do with the fact the body isn't ready to wake up, and is just what everyone else experiences when they've not had enough sleep, it just means for Narcoleptics that it takes longer sleep to get better and only slight changes in the body can result in immediate need for sleep.
Scottish Independence I have Narcolepsy, I got diagnosed 5 years ago. I personally never wake up refreshed and I know a lot of other people with Narcolepsy who feel the same. Each case of Narcolepsy is unique to the person with it and so maybe some do feel refreshed when waking but I know for certain that I don't

I can't help but wonder if she has been misdiagnosed. People with sleep disorders don't describe how they feel as "tired" but "sleepy". It might sound like a subtle difference but there is a distinction. She might have something like say, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome instead. Doesn't exactly help much since this also not a well known condition with no available cure. But it is a more common disorder that there is a larger community to gain support from...
Tired and sleepy are just synonyms of each other doesn't make a difference to her condition
once they rule out everything (and I mean everything) else, they diagnose you with IH
I suggest Popeye or something more active for some one feels tired or sleepy the whole time! having Sleeping Beauty gonna make things worst perhaps, I hope she will get better :D

I believe she has Lyme disease too. Her symptoms are the same as mine and I being a chronic Lyme disease patient relates to those symptoms.
+Sheyla Ford I'm sorry to hear that , hopefully your on a good treatment plan and have your symptoms under control. I'm a hiker/outdoor enthusiasts myself so I always have it in the back of my mind to always check for ticks . This year I was thinking about getting the shot for preventing Lyme disease. Hope you are well !
She should have a Lyme disease test done by a Lyme Literate MD. Every one of her symptoms in related to Lyme and post lyme disease syndrome. the problem is, if she is from an area that the CDC doesn't recognize as being tick infested Dr's don't even know to test for it.

Loe Kevin Sorono it took me three years to be diagnosed. And only after falling asleep at the wheel of my car and flipping it onto it's side was I actually taken seriously.
Perhaps Chronic Fatigue syndrome...
I know this is two years old, but "chronic fatigue syndrome" is a blanket diagnoses. Just means you are tired or fatigued all of the time and we don't know the reason.
This may have been the point idk, but the Sleeping Beauty looks like an old woman.
