Just got my Tourmodular and Insyde system from Champion helmets. This is a really great install guide, thanks! I understand cardo has other units still with micro usb but it's a horrible connector and disappointing to get new gear with it in 2024. As ever, it seems cardo made the most common commands stupidly complex: quickly mute, play music and reject/accept incoming calls are all tortuous button presses. I've never had good luck with cardo's voice commands, here's to hoping that will change with insyde.
The red light shows the charging status. When fully charged, the res light goes off. You don’t turn the power on to charge the unit. If you do, your phone will connect.

I have a question to ask you, why you do not including ( LAZER, KYT, AXXIS, X-Lite ) helmets, in your review and test video ? It would be interesting if the crew of Champion Helmets, make test of these helmets I mention and people would know details of other helmet which is available in their county. So, I hope you will think about my idea and continue to show real detail and review of helmets and other motorbikes equipment.
When l charge mine it flashes red and a purple colour. Then when fully charged it's flashes blue is this normal? Plus voice control doesn't working either any advice on this please rather disappointment with the unit

Schuberth handles this a lot better on the C5. The speakers and mic come preinstalled so you just have to buy the comm/battery unit, snap those in, and you are ready to go (no routing of cables etc).
Hello Martijn, no unfortunately not. Insyde is especially designed for the tourmodular. The communication system that fits the sportmodular is the SENA Arc communication system.
Today I installed the insyde , I re confirm my yesterday's comment , the installation process in comparison with the Sena SC2/ shuberth C5 is a pain in the ars , they should copy shuberth I will post a review after I do a ride test

I watched several videos and it just seemed like an arduous task, to say the least. Until I found this video! This video explains everything in a clear, concise order. I've just now finished installation and operating my system within only about 15 minutes!!! I think that is record time for any video installation I watched. In any case, while I was testing it (before I connected the system to Bluetooth on my iPhone), I could do very well with the voice commands. However, it seemed as if I was not able to use voice commands after I connected to Bluetooth. Can you help me to get the voice commands back somehow? THANK YOU, again!!
How about noise the helmet? I ask you because I'm going to bought a mew one.Older models was very noisly helmets.I'm waiting for your commet.Thaks a lot.
Hello, if you want to connect your phone and listen to music or make phone calls, you need Bluetooth. If you only want to listen to the radio, Bluetooth is not needed.
I was looking forward to get a good system for listening of music via bluetooth, but this seems like an old overpriced crap. - no USB-C? - control of next/previous song is the same button? I love my AGV helmet, but this system desperately needs an update!

I have the new freecom and I couldn't change the radio station till I started talking slowly and the it pickup my command perfectly.
I have been waiting for 5 years for this product. I have been using packtalk for 3 years.

Exactly I've had the same problem turning the unit on to charge so you don't turn the unit on to charge?
Do I need to remove the extra flap on the cheek pads where the speakers are?

Will the JBL speakers fit in the AGV Tourmodular with Cardo Insyde

Cover for sliding system is more than a little stiff, one hour in and it still isn't off. And no special tool included in the kit, wth!

Yes, very satisfied, had an issue with the visor, closing at around 50 km/hr speed, but was easily fixed - instructions on how to fix it is on TH-cam
And btw the tourmodular have a whistling sound when touring at low speed and visor fully opened

Funny how my 50$ Chinese system on another helmet has USB-C but this thing comes with micro USB.
