Magic is my favorite loadout type in hunt. I usually run magic missile and delayed blast fire ball(bomb lance steel ball and waxed frags) and then for my cantrips i usually take firebolt and spare the dying( hand crossbow revive bolts and firebolts ). Keep up the amazing wizardry!
I LOVE Blademancer! It basically gives bow-type weapons infinite ammo! That said, I do think that using Blademancer should negate pull-out damage. Especially because visually, they're just teleporting back to you in a puff of blue sparkles. Infinite ammo is enough.
@ieajackson5518 I think totally removing pull out damage for it would destroy the fun... but putting it on a max pull out damage of 15 and 30 with berserker would be fine. Right now pull out damage with berserker in the arms is 100 ... which is just stupid.
Honestly I feel like the best way to balance blademancer would be that you can’t retrieve arrows through surfaces and walls. You’ll have to be looking in in direction without anything being in the way (ex. Rocks, walls, carts, etc). This will prevent some unfair kills while keeping is signature value of retriving arrows at a distance.
Killing a person with blademancer's bolt pull will report a melee distance kill lol. Me and my trio were so confused when it happened to us a few times before we realized what was happening.
Personally my only issue is the servers at the moment. Apart from that I’ve had a blast in this event. Seen lots of players with the Shredder, but they seem to rely on its power and ‘gun ho’ it rather than slow down and actually hunt, so they don’t last long. With the new communication between random trios, has ment way more successful tactical battles. I have seen a lot of new players in random trios who think they are still playing a run and gun game, just go straight into compounds and die immediately not realising that the enemy can hear their every move, leaving two of us to try and slowly wear the enemy down, or these new players just straight away start shooting and making lots of noise, which ends with the team being hunted and we all die very quickly to actual hunters. Loving the Circus Tent, it seems to become a big shootout zone, had heaps of intense shootouts with heaps of players all blasting it out.
Honestly that failed melee charge attempt, I feel that pain. There are so many times I throw cause I run out of ammo and my brain immediately goes to "hey you should melee rush them".
Games like those will be few and far between. There's only one Shredder on the map at any given moment, and it's not so easy to just stockpile them since you need 5 pledge marks to unlock it. I get what you're saying, but that was just one lobby. When it starts happening in every lobby, I'll start agreeing with you.
@@Mr.Ford3350 it's quite easy to have two shredders in most of the games now. I could have had it multiple times now, but I have only taken it home once

I have 5 shredders in stash and could have about 12+ now, but to be honest, I don't like the shredder to much, it feels weak in my hands, so I often don't take it anymore. I am only good with the explo shredders, because there are completely busted! XD But since the Event started i played everyday about 10 hours... and I have seen the Shredder 4 times now. Got killed by it twice and killed it twice. So for me it is not an issue at all. What is a way bigger issue is that the pull out damage works with berserker, with it, a hit really almost always results in a kill with anything that works with blademancer. 100 pull out damage for arms...
Great video. I like the crossbow, too. I saw that your fps frame 72 is very consistent. No fps drops. Have you an advice for me, what you have done in your settings? This would be great.😊
@@astridviktualia4464 I have dlss turned on and I turned other high performance impacting things like shadows as low as I can go. I had to fiddle with my settings for a while to figure out what worked best though
Love Blademancer SO MUCH but it's going to get nerfed for sure lmao. I hope they only reduce the bolt pull damage to 0 if you do it in dark sight, because I can see this combo dominating lobbies and generally being frustrating to play against
@@KrullKama probably! The harpoon already kills almost anywhere in the body anyways so it’s less likely you’ll be able to do the funny pull out cause they’ll just die outright
steelbolts are so much fun now.. hope they dont nerf it. The trait is somewhat OP.. I hope they keep it in as a regular trait to retrieve ammo... I dont mind if they nerf range or dmg for killing with it

Hey thats the loadout Im running, I just take half steelbolt / half explosive. Blademancer gives you unlimited steelbolt ammo anyway.

Agree. If you mess up a shot, you mess it up. You shouldn’t get to just automatically win anyway.

I thought that Blademancer literally just vacuums the blades/bolts/arrows towards you? Keeping pull-out damage makes sense, but a nerf would be nice.

New player here, ive pickup poltergist a lot, just for the reason it really seems to make player push into traps more, or have them make mistakes
