Tekken has a history of having bears, kangeroo, android, cyborg, demons, dinosaur etc + guest characters. Victor should be the least of peoples worries. I'm okay with Victor. However good points are being made about Victor being a mix of Kuni, Noctis etc. Virtua Fighter is for the fg purist. ❤

I really liked your point on how when even if your main comes out like 2 years later, that's 2 years of catchup that you have to do vs someone who had their main from day 1. Only way I could see mitigating that to some extent is to find a different character that you can use to learn the universal mechanics of the game and then apply that mechanical knowledge to your main once they come out. Thats what I will try to do with Katarina and Azucena.
I really want to try Azucena but everyone is going use come launch day. I hope it won’t be a Feng Wei situation with her, seeing everyone use her like that would be a turn off for me. So I hope that won’t happen 💯

But when the weapons and the anime-like movement like the teleports projectiles the slight air combos get too excessive it defeats the purpose of it being a true hand to hand 3D fighter. Victor I do like his design but his moveset and combos defeat the authenticity of Tekken. Same can be said for Alisa and even Master Raven but all of those can be toned down. Better they just gave him styles such as Escrima Tang Su Do or Praying Mantis hell even Baji Quan never yet Tekken has had a Baji Quan character.
Also tbh I think Harada has something against black women characters….. yeah I said it! Why or how you ask? Because the only ones we have ever gotten are clones of a male version. Yet everyone else keeps getting brand new fresh characters!? Like wtf!? To correct Adrianb714 Bryan only used a mini-gun in-game IF you customized him to do so. The mini-gun was never a part of his moveset in his default outfits then, and still isnt now. One thing is having guns and silly shit present as a customization option or as part of a cutscene. Having them present in a character's moveset by default is another thing entirely.

Hey! New sub here and I appreciate your honesty and sticking to your guns! To me I was interested in the two knife combo he has and I thought they would have made him like a grounded knife fighter and honestly I think the Katana and Teleport stuff was wayy to much honesty Also Tekken in my eyes has always been anime since Devil Jin was introduced so the phrase "Tekken has gotten too anime" doesn't mean anything to me. My complaint is that I thought taking was supposed to be a mixture of multiple different styles of martial arts, but it seems like we're tiptoeing around the same styles instead of trying to grab new ones. We had a pure Brazilian ju jitsu guy with submissions and stuff. Something to shake things up hell they can add a Tang Su do character or something. Love the video you got a sub from me.

It's way more up close and personal than Yoshimitsu's sword, it's realistic and practical, and it makes narrative sense considering these dudes are at war.
