  • This developmental milestone series helps give you ideas as parents or caregivers on how to intentionally play with your baby or toddler in order to help them learn and grow! These activities help you to know how you can play with your baby and toddler in a way that fosters growth and development! Our entire developmental milestone series goes from newborn to 24 months and provides you with activities for every month to do with your baby or toddler! While every video is targeted at a certain month, babies and toddlers grow and develop at different rates so it's completely normal for your baby and toddler to be able to do activities from several videos both above and beneath their age!

    My son is that age and does not understand language yet and has a temper. He seems like a missing link at times but other times smart. I feel like I’m doing it all wrong at times and not sure how to get him to move forward in his development.

      Mine is the same way too. My son gets fustrated when I don't understand. I think it's very normal at this age. Every kid develops at different rate. My son is 20 months and can say a few words only when repeating after me. He won't really speak out of the blue on his own. I'm quite impressed at how talkative the 19 months old im the video. The playgroups I take my son to, the majority of the toddlers can't really speak this way. This kid must be gifted. :)

    My nephew is 19 months old and is being spoken to in 3 languages (English, Mandarin and Filipino), but he normally uses sign language to communicate. I've only heard him say "no", "bye bye" in English clearly (attempts to say "blueberry") and says other words in the other languages or via sign. That's all, just thought I'd share how proud I am of him 😄

    My toddler is 18 months old and he doesn’t wave hi or bye or doesn’t call Amma (mummy) appa (daddy) yet ... so so worried I don’t know where and what I missed that he is not yet talking atleast few words

    • @CarnahanFam
      @CarnahanFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! I would definitely get in touch with your child's pediatrician if you haven't already! I'm not sure where you are from but in many places there are great resources for early intervention available that are there to help your child reach those key milestones and progress as a typical toddler. You already sound like you are such a great mummy! Showing that level of interest and concern for your child's development just speaks to the kind of parent you are! You are doing a WONDERFUL job! Sending hugs your way! 🥰

      Speak to the child a lot and make other children's get along your baby so that the child learns to speak

      My 19 month old stoped using all his first words and mostly says 3-4 like 2 word phrases. Not sure why he doesn’t wave either although we haven’t practiced it much since I’m stay at hone mom… how do you get a busy boy to look at books he likes hates books now. And is in throwing all his toy stage. Lol any tips for that?

      My baby says mma (mummy) and da (daddy) and Amamama (amen). Nothing else. But she is patient enough to lead us around and show us what she wants. I'm not concerned about her at all. She starts school in a month, she will talk then.
