Loved the more Zen-like touch at the end with the way you said “Approved”.
Very excited for this one. Looks beautiful, and a simple elegant design. I’m sold.
Great Zen game !😊🇯🇵🌸
I'm just starting this review and have to say that's easily a top 5 cover for me.
The background/paths not matching is surprisingly jarring to me for a game about Zen gardens... It feels like there could have been a better solution...maybe something on the art, like a feature of something, rather than background. Like rock gardens, ponds, etc
Great idea but it's not very zen the way the path background colors and designs clash so horribly. You'd expect more Zen from a Zen garden game.
True but it makes the game easy to play. That makes Zence
Thought this said Tom was Reviewing Zee Garcia
🤣 Would the hammer still be used?🤔
It would indeed.

Seems very similar to Sagrada
Lots of Japanese Garden games this year, with Tang Garden, Miyabi and One Hundred Torii. This looks like the simplest one of them
yannis guerra Tang Garden is Chinese, but I get what you mean.
I have never understood what the animated dice says in the opening.
It's just gibberish, not meant to be anything.
Not a fan of the artwork, gives me a cheesy 90s vibe. The box cover look beautiful tho
The only thing that's not very satisfying is that the tiles don't look very "Japanese" style. I have been to a few Japanese gardens, this game doesn't represent this.
Poor choice of name for the game. In 2013 Mayfair Games published Zen Garden (which also had tiles). What's next from Queens - Twilight Imperium?
sorry but look like poor man version of Tang Gardens
They are pretty different games with very different markets that just happen to share a similar theme.
