Clemson has nothing to lose… Dabo is going to have them ready and throw the kitchen sink at Texas. Texas needs to start the game physically and let Clemson know they’re about business.
It hasn't developed in months, maybe years. I just hope that by the time it is figured out, it is too late for Clemson. Sark is a very strong play designer, but a very weak play caller. Hopefully the game is out of hand before Sark has to call plays on the fly.
Both teams are actually very equal when comparing their top player talent level, their 5 best players and Texas’ are comparable. The difference is that Texas has massive quality depth and Clemson falls dramatically in talent level after their top players. Texas will likely roll, but it’s also possible we will see a game where Clemson keeps it close or even takes a lead, but over time Texas will wear them down and their superior depth will secure the victory against a shallower Clemson roster. If Texas has to come back from an early Clemson lead or if it takes 3 quarters for Texas’ depth to finally pay it’s dividends, be prepared for some of the most entitled, whiny, and ignorant fans in cfb to loudly complain and denigrate Ewers and Sark, despite us making the cfb playoffs 2 years in a row and winning yet another game. 🤘🏼
Has anyone ever figured out what "Lifetime Longhorn" is supposed to mean? I thought that it meant "Has been a Longhorn fan all one's life and then attended the University of Texas at Austin.", but then someone who transferred into Texas was described as a "Lifetime Longhorn", so I was thoroughly confused. Please explain, so that I don't misuse it in the future. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas, fellas.
Quinn threw only one touch down pass and two count em' two interceptions. So Quinn messed up when it counted in the red zone. Quinn also got sacked 6 times and his percentage of completions was 58.7 % (not good) and his QB rating was 70.6 (not good). Looking at his total yards is very misleading. Texas is better at every position than Clemson, except QB. Let's hope this game does not depend on who has the best QB. Rod Babers said it best, Quinn "Sitting Duck" Ewers is the weak link on the Texas team.
You could have a 5 star at every position and still lose. Talent is a part of the equation but good play calling and chemistry trumps it. Whoever has the best gameplan wins and either way it's going to be a close one.
Sorry QB is even debatable bc of their competition. Gerry has pointed out their comp and what they did against the only good teams. Even the lower half of the SEC is better than what they played
Sure seemed to me like we made a statement against an old rival that’s been talking mess about us ever since they tucked tail and ran off to hide in the SEC back in Nov 2011: aTm. Seemed to me that we stuffed them repeatedly, 3 X, as they tried to run through us on fourth downs. They utterly failed; that sure seemed like a statement about what Texas team was boss in the SEC and in the cfb world. Seemed to me that we made a statement earlier on this year vs the reigning national champion Michigan, who was rated 9th when we played them and beat them convincingly. I also remember Texas making statements against their other two rivals this year, OU and Arkansas. Did OU score a single touchdown in that game? I seem to remember they DID NOT, for the second time now in three years against the Texas Longhorns. I seem to recall a lot of statements that Texas needed to make and that they did rise to the challenge and make this year. Were we watching the same games?
@ that’s not a comparable sample size compared to Ewers. And the teams played with Arch were not ranked our strong teams. However, hopefully it’s a sign of good things to come next year!
27-17 Texas W

34-14 Texas. Texas is a much better team at home than on the road, scoring almost 14 points more at home than on the road. It shows on Saturday.
Texas did not play Georgia better at home!
@ that was the only game they did not play well at all. They haven’t played well against Georgia all season. That is the only team.
@@philmorris8862 smh one game to the only team that’s gave us Ls, now let’s go back to focusing on the big picture
@joshuasmith5991 you have to excuse Phil. He's a hater.
He’s an angry little elf
Greetings from Missoula, Rod. I’m a Texan visiting up here.
Probably more and more Texans up there with each passing year.
41 - 13 Horns

The hate on Ewers is a little unbearable. Just think how much different the conversation would be if we had made one of two kicks against Georgia
Exactly 💯

Clemson lacks depth. Texas needs to stick with the run game and wear them down, pull away in Q4 for the W
A Kings Ransom for Bijan/Roshon for the next 4 games
Haynes King's ransom?
(That's not much.) 😁
Texas better step up and show out against Clemson. They have not played to their full potential since the Michigan game.
Beat Clemson 🤘🏼
Imo welcome to the Florida game is Clemson tries to play like Georgia
Quinn threw for 350 yds against Georgia, and they still lost.

We can always count on Phil to get in a shot or two on Quinn every day. He just can't help himself.
Sark must be more loyal to UT than he is to Ewers to win the games
Or maybe they should fire Sark and hire you. 😅😂
You had 2 chances to make your statement this year.
Math major?
