My cat Beau developed seizures two years ago. I started giving him CBD with his morning meal. He went from having 3 - 4 seizures weekly to just 1 or 2 a month.

I don't know if you have ever vaccinated your cat. Ever since they have been vaccinating cats, dog and horse etc.., seizures have rates increased in pets. Just like our babies and children it is well known that vaccines cause seizures and it is written on the side effects list inserts. I'm so happy that you have had great success with CBD oil it is a true miracle that has been ignored and once band, thank god common sense has finally won, but not in every country get. My dog was having seizures. She hasn’t had one since I put her on CBD. It was a miracle.

@@jenniferweidhaas3116 I use Charlotte’s Web. The 7mg bottle. I looked up on google how to dose dogs. My dog weighs 10 pounds and I started at 5 drops once a day. I’ve had to adjust dosage up several times over a few years. When I see she is trembling which I think is a precursor to a seizure I increase the does. I now dose her twice a day at 5 drops each. I’ve given her too at times and it turns her into a dazed zombie and I back off.

I keep adjusting my Rocky cdb dose till he wasn't having a seizure and he's had none. This has saved his life!

I thank you for making this video! I own a small CBD store and we are in a massive snowbird community with a lot of travelers. One of the best things for gaining business for us was to cater to travelers with pets. Please DO! I have a 15 years old poodle who could hardly walk outside anymore ; I had to walk her in a pram , she also had seizures, did not want to play, no more interest in food; two weeks after I started giving her cbd, a huge change happened ! She no longer suffers from arthritis and she can walk normally again ! My sweet girl was thrown in a garbage dumpster as a baby. Her hip was injured. She's now a senior and has arthritis in that hip. I use Dr. Jones CBD, which has helped her. I've increased the dose since she's almost 50#. I also do red light therapy, massage, gentle exercises, and braces. She is no longer eating regular dog food either. I am making her dog food fresh like Dr. Jones did. All of it helps.

How rude for you to come to Dr Jones page and recommend a product, when he already sells an awesome product.
I heard from many clients about how cbd's really improved their pet's amount of seizures and I thought it couldn't hurt my senior dog heal from surgery. I give it every day to help senior aches and pains and my dog seems to be in great health per his vet. Just my own experience, no negative side effects that I have seen aside from some loose stools when beginning cbd oil. I would start with a low dose and taper up to the recommended dose for sensitive tummies.

I give my 13 year old boy two drops of CBD oil in his dinner. He has no issues except being slow on walks and more tired at his age. CBD has a large amount of benefits and it can only help him.

Toni DiPietro. I love you videos. They have been so much help with an aging dog. I bought chews with CBD in them for my senior dog with arthritis. Problem is the expense. Do you know of a recipe to make dog chews? I need to get the ingredients right for a 20lb. Havanese.

How do feel about Galliprant for dog arthritis?
Well I just started my 12 yo dog on this. He was getting stiffness in his knees and started limping on rear hind leg. I have been giving this for about 3 weeks and he seems to be walking better sleeps better and calmer. Will keep going with chondroitin and glucosamine too in supplement form. Also doing the massage pressure points you recommended.👍👏👏👏 thank you. Ps I'm taking it now too. 😁

Hi Dr Jones. I'm a bit confused with dosage as I believe you said 1mg per 10 pounds bodyweight daily in older videos but now you're saying 3mg? My vet said 12.5mg twice daily which seems crazy high in comparison. Granted my 14 yo dog has many comorbidities. Kidney, Lung, heart, trachea, liver, arthritis. My CBD oil is 1.66mg per drop and my dog is 10 pounds. I was thinking of doing 1 drop twice daily. See how she goes? Her appetite is so poor these days 😢 if anyone sees this please send some good vibes for my baby who is honestly my world
My chihuahua has the same list of problems as your except he also has a brain tumor. I’ve been doing up to 4 drops per day. No seizures in over a month now! Did you ever figure out what dose worked best for your pup?
@@TeddyCrochet hey I did end up doing about 12mg, she's been fine on it, liver values stable. I think if you can get away with less then do so. My dog just has enough pain to warrant a high dose.

I have a 13 year old dog that has been on Heart medication for 3 years plus gastritis and He just got diagnosed with beginning of Kidney disease. The vet put him on a prescription diet of kibble and canned food he hates.
I had made your dog food for dogs with digestive issues but he was not wanting to eat much of anything the last 3 or 4 months. Now he's on an appetite stimulate so he's hungry but I am looking for something better to feed him.

Hi Dr Jones. I'm so glad I found you! My 14 yr old cat, Eli, has really been struggling. I love my vet, but she unintentionally misdiagnosed and then correctly diagnosed my cat's IBD. He does have mild heart disease, but he has always had GI issues... I ignored a lot of things, which I feel just awful about 😞
The point is he was put and (switched) on 6 different pharmaceutical drugs including corticosteroids and antibiotics and heart meds. His body is very very sensitive he needs something natural. He's having a lot of discomfort, is nauseous and he has no appetite. He also has anxiety and was severely traumatized at veterinary emergency room that I took him to. I've been using a pain medicine to keep him comfortable but I need something that has attributes to help all of the issues. I feel like this is the thing. He is only 9 lb however. How would I dose him?
Start at 3mg daily, then if responding well, up to 3 mg twice daily

@@jillh6779 Shame prescription meds took a toll on Eli, I think if taken cbd much sooner plus discontinue the stupid meds. My dog is 16, just started cbd a year ago, doing better than her meds which caused side effects which is intentional per pharmacy companies, and Dr's will prescribe meds for those side effects so they gain more $ from companies. Not anymore!

My 16 yr old shorkie had really bad breath from bad teeth. I put him and his sister on 2 drops a day and they are doing better in many areas but the real noticeable one is no bad breathe at all!
Hi Dr.Jones. I'm on my second bottle for my dog. I even contacted the manufacturer and they were very nice. One question, have you ever used this in a salve for bumps, lumps, cuts, etc? Another vendor, who shall remain nameless, promotes cbd balm but they're adding arnica, essential oils of peppermint, and euculptus. My understanding dogs should be very careful around essential oils, especially injesting them. My question, is can I add some of the TruLeaf CBD to say coconut oil for my dog. Have you seen any studies for fatty tumors, etc with it? If so, in 2oz of coconut oil, how many drops to mix? Thank you for all you do!
Is cbd okay to use to help calm my dogs separation anxiety? Whenever I’m not home he tends to bark a lot. Wakes up my grandparents. As I work overnight
I am now using his cbd oil brand for my senior cat, her first dose is tonight.
How’d it go?
We are on the third day of CBD oil dosing for our 10 year old feral cat. He had what appeared to be artritis in both back legs and the front legs would slip on smooth surfaces. He was reclusive and had difficulty walking over the walls of the litter box. The first day of day of dosing was 1 drop at 8 hour intervals for s total of three drops. The second day we increased to two drops per six hours for a total of six a day. The third day was a total of 9 drops using the six hour intervals. By the end of the first day we thought we saw some improvement. The second day was a definite improvement in mobility. The third day we had our old cat back with normal mobility including jumping over the sides of the litter box. We will keep the dosing at 9 drops with the intention of reducing it to 6 a day.

My 12 yr old cat was diagnosed with feline herpes virus and a respiratory infection about two months ago. I've been dealing with her declining health since December, have gone to two vets trying to get help to resolve her health issues. In addition to the traditional approach (not effective, and seemed to worsen her condition including ulcerated (white cloudy patch) corneas in both eyes). I've used cat friendly herbal tinctures and homeopathic remedies. She continues to get worse. It's been one of the most heart wrenching and maddening experiences for mee and for her. She can only see shadows now. Not eating nor drinking water. Very weak. Losing weight.. only 6lbs now. I'm using an eye dropper with organic chicken stock for nutrient/hydration. I gave her a few drops of CBD tonight. She's hiding. Breathing is labored. I don't have any more hope for her recovery. I've explored every single avenue I can think of. So heartbreaking.

My senior cat just turned 15 a month ago and her health went downhill so fast.
She has been very healthy cat for a long time so I'm very overwhelmed and don't know what to do. She got frequent urination, darker urine, her vet prescribed her Onsior. She got loss of appetite, lethargy as side effects of drug, her vet gave her Mirataz for nausea. It seems that she is so stressed going to the vet clinic.
She got her appetite back for a short while then her UTI came back with blood in urine and diarrhea. She is limping now, she may have arthritis pain, I don't want to see her suffer.
I will give her CBD oil, hope she will feel better soon. Again thank you for your advice.

I just ordered 2 more bottles of your CBD oil for my cats. 😊 My senior Silver Persian Attila has never minded going to the groomer but recently has become more sensitized to the experience and starts over-grooming leaving his fur in patches. I usually groom him myself which he is okay with but after having back surgery several months ago, I needed some help with his grooming. I've been giving him Rescue Remedy which works well but I want to get CBD into him as it works a bit better to calm him more. In the past it has helped my other pets with nausea and anxiety. My cat is on zophran, physlium husk powder, sacrobolardia, baby gas drops, renal k and chinese herbs for ibd diarrhea. Does cbd have any reactions with these or maybe replace a couple?

I have started cbd for my dog in the hopes to help his arthritis. After 2 days I noticed improvements however she started drinking a lot of water and unfortunately urinated on my bed while I was at work ( never done before). I have her taking monthly shots of librela but the effects wear of around day 22 so my incentive for CBD was to give it to her for the remainder of the month until the next injection. However her increased drinking and urination has me rethinking the CBD…

Does CBD oil help Cavaliers who have SM. My girl is 6 and about 11 Kgs and Gaberpenten 100 mg dosen’t hold her for 6 hours as we are giving her. Can you only get it on prescription in Australia, my vet seems reluctant to give me a script says not enough research done on it yet. Also PEA not enough research.
