Al día de hoy uno de los pocos jugadores que aún me emociana cada vez que lo veo.
Muchos dicen que fue o es un jugador poco valorado o algo desconocido, yo digo que o no nacieron en esa época o solo vieron videos de Ronaldo en su vida (el verdadero Ronaldo, no el fantoche).
En la Fiore la descosió toda, si bien tenía a un gigante como Rui Costa al lado, se generaba él solo los espacios y de la nada conseguía ocasiones de gol. Cabezeador de otras épocas, con una gran visión para ir al lugar correcto y ganar la posición en el aire o tomar los rebotes. Tiros libre de todo tipo, definición letal, clase mundial para saber colocar si era necesario, un 9 depredador que con el paso del tiempo se hizo más lento pero no menos eficáz.
A mi entender y como 9 puro de area desde fines de los ochenta hasta casi el 2000 top 3 del múndo y a nivel histórico top 8 o 10.

They may win stupid friendly matches but that won’t count for anything. Also they are bad losers. When they realize the game is slipping away , then there is a barrage of fouls , drama. Lembro da seleção Argentina de 1998, costumava jogar com ela no PES ataque era insano,escalava Crespo, Cláudio Lopez e Batistuta na frente,meio campo de qualidade com Ortega, veron e Simeone...ainda tinha Ayala e Javier Zanetti.. timaço. Chute do Batistuta era muito forte.
Como uma seleção dessa não ganhou nem uma Copa América pelo menos, essa geração era foda demais, e ainda venho a geração seguinte com Riquelme e companhia, só geração boa passando em branco.
