This band has so few views and reactions with the talent level they're at. SO glad you guys got on this and gave them some exposure I'm surprised they haven't blown up really. Australia has been putting out some excellent music that isn't getting enough respect. Keep up the good work guys always enjoy your videos!
They literally just played this song at Monolith Melbourne. They had a guy named Mikey who jumped on stage twice to do the main screaming parts. He was pretty good. Luckily we grow good screamers on trees in Australia 😉
I'm giving this band my FULL attention!!! The highlight of this song for me was when the vocalist was doing rap lyrics, really stood out to me for a metal band.
Specially first part of rapping - I love how well it intertwines with the rhythm and the guitars. Wow. Flowing very smooth. But overall the song is great!
This was incredible so happy you guys checked it out, the last single was amazing too! My most hyped and interesting up and coming bands alongside Tallah, both super unique and talented and full of energy, so excited for their future!
That was sick. I was typing out a reply, and then you guys brought it up about the harsh vocals. I need to listen to a lot more and see if they have their own harsh vocals as well. Either way, they have a new fan in me.
I know you don't do older songs but if you haven't checked out their previous 2 singles in your own time it is 100% worth it - incredibly underrated Aussie band with a really commanding sound and so open to trying new things. Without a doubt my highlight of the Brisbane Full Tilt when I saw them!
This band is just unique. I love them. I first heard their song "Doomed" from their 2018 album and they just blew me away. Their fun and unique but not in an Electric Callboy kind of way where you're wondering what the hell the next song will be, but in a consistent way. THIS is their sound, groovy, kind of trappy, kind of rappy, metal way. People are always looking for more "unique" and less samey bands and here is Reliqa!
This feels like a band that would always have someone solid to tour with where the lead vocalist from one of those bands could do those parts. It's the beauty of live music. Sean basically sets the foundation, and other vocalists interpret it. It's the best part of live music (especially pop punk and features in metal and rock): the live interpretation of recorded material. Sometimes, guitar solos and drum fills and intros go a bit longer or they'll hold a note a bit longer. And that's one of the best parts about live music, outside of the crowd you're experiencing the show with. It's honestly never really a concern of mine. The bigger issues are bands that tour as a 4 piece that use orchestras and additional musicians in most of their studio recordings. The scale just doesn't match up with the live show. Guest vocalists can usually always be found in a live setting. I got to join Matt and FFTL on Ride the Wings of Pestilence after Sonny left and they had someone else the next show. Stuff like that just happens, and it makes it unpredictable and somehow more exciting.
Serj Tankian from System of a Down. That's what her vocals reminded me of on my very 1st listen. Like you had no idea where her vocals were going just like Serj on 1st listen.
Interesting and good Song :) Nice reaction as alsways 😎🤘 Please react to the New track "vultures of the north" from orbit culture. Its just been Released and is an absolute BANGER 😎😎😎🤘🤘🤘🤘 Pretty Sure you two would like it! Greetings from Germany 🤘
I know you guys said you've seen them live a few times but you should definitely go back and get a more proper listen to their older singles and albums. These guys are really sick!
The weird thing about singing in an "Australian accent" is that its intentional, the singing accent is the normal accent. You have to fully relax your vocals to get the Aussie accent.. Its why she sings in a monotone voice.

They have to be more exposed. Very few react to this song! The band needs to blow up.
I genuinely do not understand how these guys aren't bigger

Gotta react to the whole ep
The rap part she did before the breakdown gave me slipknot vibes
this song, especially from 2:48, is TEXTBOOK material.
Woo love it
You guys seriously need your own bobble head figures!!!😜
Wouldn’t argue haha
